The site is currently moving servers so this is the most likely reason why some posts are temporarily unavailable at the moment. I'm sure Stephen is working hard to restore them as I type. Look out for updates in the 'site news' section.

The warning that was in 'Site News' is one of the ones that's gone - but, nobody's died....

Hi guys, if you are posting, you are on the new server :)

 

I'm finishing off some config at the moment, and will then run a resync on the database to catch anything

Sorry for the delay, was re-setting us the csf and lfd firewalls ;):P

 

Anyone feeling the site a bit faster?

 

The move to Dublin and move to SSD storage has given it a bit of a boost from my location :)

The site is faster on my I pod touch,well done Stephen,

mind you I got a upgrade on my I pod Touch IOS system

today from the nice folks in apple.

I am thinking of getting a tablet later in the year,what do

people think is best-I pad?,Samsung tablets?.

Sorry for the delay lads, got a bit busy this afternoon, back to the site now.

 

Will just need to run a quick comparison between the old server and new, then syncronise over any missing content, will have it done shortly :)

 

If anyone notices anything 'wierd' just let me know ;)

An Asus Nexus 7. Great value for money and small enough to carry around. You can get the 32Gb WiFi version for about €240-250.

I did about 4 or 5 posts last night, still missing.

I've run syncs on two tables - are they still missing?

you were warned about disrupting the space time continuum! maybe you need this....'the flux capacitor'...
