From my records, coming soon includes rakes of :

- Beets

- Timber (20' and 40'(!)

- Cement (full rakes of bogie and bubbles)

- 20' flats with kegs

- fuel oil train

- ballast train

- weedspray

- pocket wagons

- container flats

- autoballasters

And then assorted tampers and per way stuff.

As well as two NIR ballast in the pic (not sure of their origin), a rake of seacows and odds and ends :)

The two NIR ballast are based on this prototype: Nir - Ballast Train - Picture 3/8

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

You could have a freight terminal like the one at North Wall with a crane, and then have another spur on to the pier like the one at Dublin port where they load the containers!

Does anyone know where the model comes from?

The NIR ballast hoppers are ex-SNCF wagons. In model form, they were produced in a limited run, so getting hold of them is hard (I know, I've been trying to get some for my French project!).

Lovely photos, but I've had to turn my head to all sorts or strange angles to see them! I've found out that a handstand is best

Its a ploy to get us all fit for the Olympic,s =)) Nice pics by the way.

those wagons really are a nice piece of work! as they are ex sncf- they dont appear to be HO gauge, or is the french wagons modelled in oo? and Bos..dont forget to pay the driver-cash will do nicely!!

Thanks for that Garfield! Any more details!

I'll try and dig out details of who manufactured them... can't remember right now.

Edit: just saw the pics of your hoppers and they look like they're the ballast hoppers Jouef produce. A different type to the ones NIR use...
