Popular Post Davenport Posted June 28 Popular Post Posted June 28 Hi all, So ive been working on a layout with TMD in mind as i have limited space and have alway like a TMD look. This layout is not based on any TMD just what came to my head it started out as just a 2x6 mainboard but then i decide on two extensions on either end. The trackwork and points are all peco steamline and are super realible while the buildings are the brillant bachmann resin ones. I also really enjoyed the woodworking while working on James st. I used to be taken down on Sundays to look at trains in Cork during the late 80s early 90s by my Dad when freight rail was super to watch and the different types of Locos was all so cool so i like to model mainly from this period. Its still very much a WIP Anyways enjoy the photos more to follow.... 15 5

Davenport Posted Friday at 19:04 Author Posted Friday at 19:04 Hi all, First of all, thanks for all your comments, it was alot of starting, stopping and rethinking before I got to this stage and I am really pleased at the way its turned out. I didnt get much time at it this week but managment decided to move the crane to the back of the engine shed and extend the rail line, this is because it will be it will be closer to Goods inwards and the Mechanical workshop, I think this is the correct choice. I took a small video of 222 in its new Livery - as you can see also John taking a sneaky look on the line side before it enters James st. The localy MK1 GTI are also out in the foreground. Thanks all. 20260703_192355.mp4 7
