@hidden-agenda, I don't think I've any closeups of any wagons.

Here is a set of non-passenger workings on Irish Rail: http://www.flickr.com/photos/finnyus/sets/72157625278996360/with/7556550764/

Good Evening all,

With the nice spring day today I decided to head out for some photographs around Laois. Locations include Portlaoise, Portarlington, Carn and Deerpark.

In addition to the sunny weather, Limetree Airfield, near Portarlington are having a flyin over the Bank Holiday weekend. The flyin continues tomorrow so if your nothing planned and in the Laois area it is well worth a visit.

Brilliant photos! 075 caught me by surprise also, I didn't get my video but I did cycle beside it for half a mile:ROFL: Needless to say I was an hour early to film the timber train.

good pics there finbar...love the freight and the north wall. were the 3's vandalised by budding young artists yet?

Heirflick, from what I can see there is some "art" on parts of them alright. Though, to be honest, the green mold growing on them looks a lot worse.
