So that's where those parts were going into!

White metal bits supplied by Weshty which I think made a big difference to the models. One part I was worried about was the whistle but it worked out OK.

Excellent work Kirley. Both models are things of beauty. Can I ask how you did the lining on the models? It's something that's always scared me about doing steam conversions!

For the firebox, what did you use? Half a pipe maybe?

Barl -I used LNER lining from Modelmaster, GRS800 - used conduit piping for the firebox.
