Not my work, Derek. It was originally done back in 2014 by @Flying Scotsman 4472. 

A few years ago, I removed the bodyshell and fitted a speaker to use with the 567 sound decoder. I also added a driver and replaced the wipers with a finer version from SSM.

Some tidying up was required with the airbrush after dismantling, but she still looks as good all these years later.

Much as I love the Ballasts, and it’s hard to be consistent with a favourite, I think that maybe the Tara’s and Ferts top the list for me.

That felt like an era of really top notch models, extreme accuracy, and excellent pricing, the pinnacle for Irish models of freight stock.
