DJ Dangerous Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 The weathering, the sound, and the driving, it all just goes together so well. Pure class. 1 1
Rob Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 Brilliant Jason- 146 looks stunning there. Excellent all round 2
JasonB Posted December 23, 2025 Author Posted December 23, 2025 Bagged Cement wagons. Stabled on one of the sidings. 12 2
JasonB Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Some progress made on this side of the layout. The cabin still needs a little more work before I can call it finished. 15 4
DJ Dangerous Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Wow, @JasonB. Savage looking run down that side, and the signal box is funk-phe-no-me-nal… 1 1

JasonB Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 (edited) A little more progress. I've been building up the ground level with Das Clay. It's time consuming, but also quite relaxing. Edited March 14 by JasonB 10
JasonB Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 Moving along to the opposite corner. Today was spent cutting and shaping the foam for what will be a small residential area. 9
JasonB Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 The road surface and driveways have now been added using sheets from Scale Model Scenery. The paving slabs are from an old Metcalfe kit I had lying around. I have also covered the raised areas on both sides with plaster cloth. 6
DJ Dangerous Posted March 21 Posted March 21 The road surface looks great, as do the slabs. Gritty, grimy look and feel to it. Can just picture a battered forklift trundling around. And the clingfilm bromance! 1 1
JasonB Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Lawns have now been added front and back. I have also made up and fixed down the perimeter walls. The embankments have been painted and will eventually need static grass applied. There's alot more work to be done on this area, but it's beginning to take shape. 9 2
DJ Dangerous Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I can see a cottage industry springing up as demand for “Jason’s Corner Modules” explode. 1 1 1
DJ Dangerous Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Only realising, now, what a brilliant idea it is working on your corner modules off-site. Makes sense but I’d never thought of that. 1 1

Makes sense but I’d never thought of that. Yes, it's easier than having to constantly lean into the corner when trying to work on it. It's lightweight, so I can move it about when I need to. Once the majority of work is finished I will fix it in place on the layout. 1
