josefstadt Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Nice driver's eye-view of Longford, there. And to think that the former freight yard is now only used for parking railcars. Quote
Garfield Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) And to think that the former freight yard is now only used for parking railcars. True, but at least it still serves a purpose... would be worse if the rails were lifted. Edited November 30, 2012 by Garfield Quote

Weshty Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Fair comment Garfield. Or it could be like Limerick Freight yard and used for parking cars.... Quote
Glenderg Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Is there not a sexy little CIE 40' container taking pride of place in that yard Pat? And as for Limerick, there's a massive gantry crane... greatful for small mercies as me mam says...! Quote

Arran Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 HI The one were looking into and have the price for is the 20ft flat, I cant see anyone jumping in and doing that wagon strait off. The Chassis if my information is correct can be used under a number of wagons including the beat wagon. Regards Arran Quote
WRENNEIRE Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 Picked mine up in Bangor Cant seem to find a nice display box, but this might do I actually ran a rake of 10 in the MRSI on Friday evening, ran well but no weight in either the wagon or the container so I loaded them with lead over the bogies, glued them on and then packing tape over both blocks, belt & braces as it were!
