Lovely Stuff, Reminds me I sadly have to take my fathers Garden railway up at some stage. Good news I will be hopefully relaying it in my own garden. Dont tell the missus 3 years waiting for a patio!! -

The 1980's roll in to Connafeld in the form of Jaffa liveried coaches. Very Vibrant too. I was looking at getting some 2nd hand stock but the price of 3 of these coaches being offered in the same livery was dearer than a brand new boxing! Daft. -

This Rant seems to be a thing now especially on the plastic kit reviewers, Peter Oxley is one lad I enjoy but these "chats" are over an hour long sometimes! . I dont mind Sam, did not like him before but leave his videos run as background noise while at work. I skip Jenny tbh. -
I checked the invoice, UK Vat was deducted at the checkout, Previous purchases were seamless and came through without hassle. It did come direct also not through AP.

People can't resist a bargain really with the prices on offer especially on the Diesels. I would be waiting for how the new management will tackle the steamers as they a have not had the best rep. -
No New items Tony.

Nope, found out last week, order €38 worth, Customs added another 15 notes on top. back to the EU for me now to shop. Sadly could not get what I needed from the German shops or Marks.

Very nice Patrick. What sound decoder are you using, Seems a tad too many chuffs per revolution for a 2 cylinder loco but otherwise lovely!

Getting the station running in boards in situ. Bit of weathering of the locos and stock. These were mostly kept clean really. VID_20260414_182504.mp4 VID_20260414_180549.mp4 -

Been working on this personal project for a while. As I have a lot of irish outline and jealous of you boys and your irish layouts I decided to re gauge a MM 121 so I too can have some fun. Wheels and gears were sourced from Wonkywheelset.de in Germany and were a simple pop in. The frames hide most of the change really so the gauge difference is not really noticeable. Runs quite well until it hits the tunnel mouth. -

I always thought those big retailers sunk quite a lot of the smaller shops TBH. Good Pricing but the smaller shops are up against it. LOL Locked, some forum that is. I was enjoying the meltdowns, Everything wiped.

Lastest installment. I have no words to decribe what this man has recreated in Miniature and this is only the start. This is like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Almost Emotional modelling really. It cannot get much more real than this. I am in awe. Superquick will never be the same. -
yep, Priced at what they think the market is willing to pay and FOMO playing a big part. I just sit back now, Been burned big time with FOMO. Last one was the EFE Booster, bought at full price and now is still being discounted. A look at rails site shows quite a lot of bits being marked down, every day I get a sales email from Rails, German Model shops, Plastic model shops so are these yokes being overpriced at placing them on the market? A great example was Airfix Buccaneers 1/48 retailing @ €84.00 notes. Simply not worth it. A year later picked up 3 for €75. Result. Missing out wont change my life TBH. The big pull in was the Rewards and Bundle % off really. You wont get that from the Shops. I rarely go into the City now. If I Dublin I call into Greenouge for a chat and a look around, pick up some paints etc. don't be long adding up a bill!! One went back as it was like your broken in the box, Valve gear off despite me asking the UK shop to double check the loco. They did not. It came back and the gears dont mesh not, Zero traction, Sitting in the display case. shame as they are quite lovely Frankly not even bothered now running the 2nd one at all if indeed it does at all.

It would be interesting to see how many locos from the Heljan Stable people have bought on this forum, will it really hit the shops big time? I have only 3 OO Gauge ones Class 33 - Lovely runnner, cant complain Met underground loco my Dad bought for me, Zero interest in it personally but was admiring it in Cheltenham model shop and he snuck off and bought it for me, bless him! Class 15 bought on a whim and cant it get rid of for 100 notes and equipped with decoder and 2 009 Lynton and Barnstaple disasters that never ran and could not get them repaired so did not tip my toe back in that scale again.
