  1. I can report 18 Digital Cobalts Arrived from Rails with no hassles
  2. Quite! Ala the Limerick Junction Shuffle
  3. Unless the Sender knows the Final Dest is outside GB. Ie your billing address and takes the VAT of the initial Cost. This is a right balls up especially for buying n Selling UK outline Etc, should of went Continental outline a year ago....I must admit I did not know or think the VAT was Strictly gonna be locked in. The Tiny people Get Squeezed to hell but the Corps get away with Murder. Even the price of some Etched Headcodes is gonna be pricey or problematic to get in now. Feel like throwing in the towel now TBH on the GB stuff but too late now. Quite a lot of Model Shops outside of the UK and decided it is not worthwhile supply the UK anymore This is were the Local Models shops in Ireland come into their own, Lets hope the EU Suppliers like Noch, Revell etc now don't have this awful model of UK DC's anymore as a lot of Kits etc are supplier through UK hubs. There a couple in Hamburg, Get me a ticket and an Empty suitcase and I do a trip for ya and collect all ye bits!
  4. MK.3 rakes are mostly too long for the average layout too, I have a rake done on my 12ft long one and it takes up the whole scenic Area. The old Park Royals and Cravens make nice smaller length trains.
  5. You wont get charged Vat Twice Skinner
  6. FYI Kit does not come with wheels had shelve out another 17 notes for a 10 pack of wheels. PITA.
  7. Got my Van kit today, ItJust made it out before Brexit! Good ol Service there from Silver Fox.
  8. Theresa in the field of Corn too and maybe a Faller Maggie doing a U turn. My love of London has diminished somewhat, just not the place I knew in the 80/90's. Much more interesting things in Europe now that I regret not getting to see in my youth Also London does not have this Hamburg Attraction, Astra and Currywurst. Still waiting on a 100 bottle Delivery from Germany, lovely tack. You probably missing this layout in the Musuem Gauge 1 too.
  9. Seen this on RMWEB , a MWL in London without the Currywurst and German beer. Site cost 14 Million so lets hope they have a few pound left for some Murphy models stuff to run on it. The Biurb below says to Feature Ireland too. The giant layouts planned for the attraction include: A 300sqm layout of the UK and Ireland An 18-metre long London A giant USA inspired layout An impressive ski resort The world’s largest miniature airport There will also be a number of dioramas depicting various eras of British History, from the Battle of Hastings to the Swinging Sixties. Other smaller layouts and dioramas will also pepper the location. https://www.gaugemasterretail.com/magento/news/article/view/id/213/
  10. He Really does know a man.
  11. Order gone into the LMS for the Early Crest MN, Glad I did not bite when they fist came out, This will be a quality runner! I'd love the Rocket park with the Mail coach but have the yellow one from last year ,does Des do a number set for it wonder?
  12. New tooling, Looks fab too
  13. Some lovely Stuff coming out, That Rocket pack and yeeeess a Diecast Merchant Navy in the Doublo packing, sweet. 4 and 6W Coaches to lads! 125 in Midland Pullman Livery too. Peco do a snap shot here. RMWEB has loads of Separate threads clogging up the forum TBH.
  14. any one in the know can inform me where you can get Motorised Class 20 chassis at a Reasonable cost these days. There used to be loads on the Ebay but none nowadays Need about 4

  17. Cracking Build. Those wheels look Waaaaaay to big for the little Boiler though. I must of been a goer on the rails. I wonder why the boiler was not extended to make use of the space between the Smoke box and buffer beam area.
  18. Same here. Download it too only sound.
  19. It would certainly be nice on a Small Layout but the time element of building multiple points etc would kill me. I used to wonder in my youth when fellas at the RC club would head home on a perfect day for family'sy duties, Now I know! For me it is just not Possible given time constraints.
  20. Yea Looks a bit Sh1t Still tbh, I should of just done a large around the walls type layout instead of this Exhibition type one as I will need a van to move this anywhere and I don't have one. Might Rethink what I am doing and leave that area with the houses as is for now and flip the back scene boards to the opposite side. Well see. Also the price of all the scenery bits n bods is a bit daft too!
  21. Tks Leslie, There is a West Country and a Merchant Navy in the Vid! just for you!
  22. Finally have this 80 class running, The wheels on the coaches are not suitable for my code 75 as the flanges are too big but it runs. I can only run it on the inside as the bogie frames on the motor coach rub on my 3rd rail. MVI_5592.MOV
  23. Where can you get it for lower price then?. If you need one or want one thats your best option right now.
  24. The 2 Supers arrived at work yesterday from Rails. all bits intact, Set complete now. Delighted and a nicely timed bonus from work squared the Visa away, Fresh start for 2021. Superb Model in all fairness. Fair play to Murphy models for the Royal Flush of American Diesels.
  25. Ah the MIR 141 kit, The first thing to get me into the now black hole of Irish Modelling. I made a nice ol job of that kit but in the end one of the cats knocked it off the shelf it was on and it damaged it, In a rage I slammed the rest of it into the floor. Only the roof exhaust panel still survives.
