  1. They A Class are ' Cheap' now as they are available to buy now. You can't compare the same with the 141 prices on ebay, I have said if before. If two blokes with endless wallets and there are a good few of them about then the chaps who are willing to pay max 200 slobs will loose out. My last baby someone offered 200 notes, it went for 350 in the end, I won't refuse the extra 150 notes at any stage. When the A's sell out then the same will happen to the value there hopefully. The 071s took ages to move from the shelves. Same as the 201s and tbh you could easily say a lot of people on here have more then one loco bought of those classes. I know I do, When I look at what I have I most likely will never use some of the locos. I sold a book the other week, Bought for £35 in 2000, Sold for £280 notes last week, I would not even look at paying that for that book but the chap who wanted it had to as you cant get the volume anywhere. Hopefully it will be reprinted at some stage as it was a fab book. Good luck DJ in getting babys for bargain price bud.
  2. Kaydee but the looks of it.
  3. afraid not Nov was the last Digital copy I obtained, If it comes in I'll let you know.
  4. N would be the biz in Irish Railways, A proper rake of M3 is waaaaaaaay too long for most layout along with long block trains like containers and cements, taras, I have a 12ft Scenic section and the Mk3's stretch across all of that.
  5. roughly 26 notes a wagon you cant go wrong! I have enough flats at this stage. More than the missus!
  6. I see you did!! I got Suckered in for a CIE ballast Set Bundle and the New IE Ballast Wagons, You only live once. Accurascale has a few bob of their bundles too.
  7. Some Fab Cameos there during the film to take on board like the scrap on the loading bank, the Fertisler spreaders non the flats The 20ft container trans, The Derailments. I do think they BNT era was the more interesting even though I was not around for it. a After watching this I feel like ordering a rake a Beets off of PW!
  8. Hi Lads, Just come across this, some excellent footage, I've not seen much or any of this before so fair due to the IRRS for sticking this on Utube. Interesting to the background to getting all these super 8s onto digital, the work the chap has done is immense. @Noel you will be in your element here! You may even now try to get a rate of Mk.2 in primer green!
  9. I built a load of these if you want to put up a pic I should be able to help you out.
  10. That came up very nice Robert, Whites a pig to do too. Just notice the Dios and the Name tag, Very nice.
  11. Yes Address pal 100% record for Me and a lovely Post Mistress ensure I collect my parcels there! New Revenue import system coming into play this Monday . Lots of late nights recently. The amount of manual work and red tape is beyond belief and beyond the capabilities of the carriers bring in the stuff so full implantation has been pushed back till December, Hopefully longer.
  12. Hide all those 121's in Whisky bottles!
  13. Local model shops will be the winners here with these changes. Gone for me is buying 40 handrail stanchions a go for one shipment, I will have to consol everything now and make one large purchase to cut the post fees down to a min or I can customs clear my own stuff and avoid any charges which is probably what I will do. Say rails with the 121, Current cost €176.23 including post. Add in a 10 for processing then bang goes any savings per one loco order. You will be going local. Multiple buys you still save a few notes, A lot smaller though. Rails wont promise shipping all your oder in one go so I will take on the suggestion of Hattons drop box as DC advised.
  14. You want to get your stuff from Eur Ebay now, Some fellas are gonna be caught with this From 1 January 2021, eBay will be legally required to begin collecting and remitting VAT for UK imports. From that date, eBay will have to charge buyers the applicable VAT amount directly and remit this sum to the relevant authorities. Irish sellers trading with UK buyers and listing on the UK or any EU site will need to provide both gross prices as well as the applicable VAT rate used to calculate the gross price on all listings. If sellers do not specify gross prices and VAT rates, eBay will have to assume that the price provided is the net price, and will add VAT on top of the price displayed to buyers. We strongly urge sellers listing on eBay.co.uk or other European eBay sites to specify the applicable VAT rates on existing listings as soon as possible. All new listings should include a VAT rate. You will find the field for the VAT rate beside the price when you create or edit listings. What you need to know: - From 1 January 2021, eBay will start to collect and remit VAT for UK imports on all consignments with a value of up to £135. There will no longer be a VAT exemption for small consignments up to £15. - In cases where the seller is a non-UK business and the goods are already in the UK, eBay will collect and remit VAT for goods sold to consumers within the UK, regardless of their value. - Sellers should begin listing the applicable VAT rates on all their existing and new listings as soon as possible. - From 1 March 2021, eBay will make it mandatory to add the VAT rate on all UK and EU sites when listing items.
  15. Sorry lads, I know its out there but just spent the last 10 mins trying to locate it and I failed to confirm the next Batch due in are the B&T and the Supertrain liveries? After that then the Tippex?

  17. If you are doing the Grey one make sure to take all the printed markings off as the raised edges will show through the paint. Don't recall the S&B ones going that manky really. You could go a bit gentler!
  18. Some changes coming down the tracks, Those small items will now become a bit more expensive. https://addresspal.anpost.ie/how-it-works
  19. Small bit more done over the past while, Taking a bit of shape now! Cabin done and compass deck starting to take shape now.
  20. Yes it was nice to drive past over the crossing and glimpse the tracks, Massively overgrown though recently which was handy for the few bits of wildlife to seek refuge. Should of left the whole thing as a wild life greenway but that of course would not generate the so called millions this will to the local economies. We have enough placed in front of us to keep us occupied around the country.
