  1. It would certainly be nice on a Small Layout but the time element of building multiple points etc would kill me. I used to wonder in my youth when fellas at the RC club would head home on a perfect day for family'sy duties, Now I know! For me it is just not Possible given time constraints.
  2. Yea Looks a bit Sh1t Still tbh, I should of just done a large around the walls type layout instead of this Exhibition type one as I will need a van to move this anywhere and I don't have one. Might Rethink what I am doing and leave that area with the houses as is for now and flip the back scene boards to the opposite side. Well see. Also the price of all the scenery bits n bods is a bit daft too!
  3. Tks Leslie, There is a West Country and a Merchant Navy in the Vid! just for you!
  4. Finally have this 80 class running, The wheels on the coaches are not suitable for my code 75 as the flanges are too big but it runs. I can only run it on the inside as the bogie frames on the motor coach rub on my 3rd rail. MVI_5592.MOV
  5. Where can you get it for lower price then?. If you need one or want one thats your best option right now.
  6. The 2 Supers arrived at work yesterday from Rails. all bits intact, Set complete now. Delighted and a nicely timed bonus from work squared the Visa away, Fresh start for 2021. Superb Model in all fairness. Fair play to Murphy models for the Royal Flush of American Diesels.
  7. Ah the MIR 141 kit, The first thing to get me into the now black hole of Irish Modelling. I made a nice ol job of that kit but in the end one of the cats knocked it off the shelf it was on and it damaged it, In a rage I slammed the rest of it into the floor. Only the roof exhaust panel still survives.
  8. thats a bloody good job for a Hairy Stick I must say.
  9. Strange for sure, all mine from Rails have arrived and there is one more package only left yesterday so I will get that next week all going well into the loco PO. Now need to get into Marks for 2 sound chips so I can have a play xmas day.
  10. I got my First Rails order yesterday, 5 in fact 3 had damage to handrails, 1 set snapped off completely. BNT and IR's My Double order of the IE's Came in and mostly ok except the bonnet etch had come off one loco but was easily and carefully put in place. Just the supers left now to come to the PO. looking forward to seeing those.
  11. Looks very high but on 2nd glance on a track on a track! Fair play John!
  12. Hello Jack , just took a loot and the box is code 100 but its all code 75 in there so I don't have any I'm afraid. sorry to get your hopes up.
  13. Sweet, Kinda like those early Diesels. Lots of Character
  14. I'll check the Shed later this am mate. Next day this time of the year you will be lucky to get that though!
  15. Heritage Example of Kilkenny, This is how Heritage gets treated here, Why the old roof platform could not be used in the development of the Station is beyond me. Now people have no cover on the platform previous and After new station with melted roof.
  16. they sure do, Tell us about them Noel and what magic is needed, are they coin cell operated or from the bogies?
  17. I presume you are in Dunboyne Jack, I have a good few flexi track 100 plus points spare but they will be destroyed in the post? looks nice BTW
  18. Yes I read those with Amusement yesterday especially the guy buying from the big H direct and then giving out about the postage cost is more than Hattons but he still buys from them direct anyhow..... I must add that was on the Twitter or book of faces Release of Same.
  19. No Surprise really, shops in the UK are doing this also.
  20. Just got an Email from Rails saying my final lot is on the way, The IE Loco's, Say What I said to myself, I picked them up from Marks Last weekend didn't I. Looks like I ordered 124/129/134 Twice...Ooops. The visa is not gonna look pretty next month.

  22. Racking me brains on this one and came up with this, A Classic from 86. Soon to become a thing of the past.
  23. If you are every in Fermoy pop into the Blackwater Makers, Some Smashing stuff for sale. I got this for my 50th last August, Best of both Worlds! I note the Artist did not go through the torture of the Lozenge Camo Pattern , Did that on a RC D.VII some years back only for it to collide mid air with a Pup. I blame me dad!
  24. That nice a discount, I got Zilch and bought 3 locos!
