  1. If none of them are B&I ferries, I'll be disappointed. Probably two tone green Dublin buses, Roadliner trucks, 071 Class locos, 800 Class locos, 47' Flats, Mk4 coaches, Mk2A/B/C range expansion, loose coupled wagon three packs, 2600's, or who knows? Maybe one of the lads has a baby on the way and that's one of the announcements. Or maybe they're pre-empting sanctions on China and opening a plant in a low wage area much closer to home, one with a young, skilled, multi-lingual workforce, one that's less than four hours away, one that has blue skies most of the time, and one where palletwide containers are the norm, and that's one of the announcements.
  2. Yeah, that little cloud of cigarette smoke around the back seats, forgot about that! That DCC chip will have a lot of work to do.
  3. For the extra cost of the DCC chip, it would also need to emit Co2 or something to make you nauseaous, for that authentic bus-home-from-town nostalgia trip. I'll take a two-tone green trio any day!
  4. Are you hinting that it'll be three different destinations on the next batch???
  5. He knows when you're lying, duh.
  6. Outstanding, @Rob. Pity you don't have any ammonia tanks lying around.
  7. Hmmmmmmm..... Feels like a while since a bus announcement... There must be one on the way for filling the Christmas stockings?
  8. I'd like to report this photo as offensive. I'm offended by how awesome it looks and how I'll never see anything like that myself.
  9. Received this bundle of joy yesterday - a very lucky eBay win!
  10. So what are these appropriate for? Are you guys using them on the Mk5's?
  11. Yup: Don't worry, @Mayner, I forgive you for missing that - reading is hard.
  12. They sound more like 121's, though:
  13. Class 319, Subseries 2, numbers 201 to 220, known affectionately as "Retales". Retales has two meanings; "patchwork" and "scrap metal". The 319's were built using a patchwork of 071 style bits from GM, and the scrap metal / remains of the original Class 319's. The original 319's had a single cab, about two thirds of the way along the body. Great performers but were terrible for rust, so instead of being completely scrapped, they were torn apart and rebuilt in the Subseries 2 locos. I think that most of them were sold and exported to Argentina, but there are still a few skulking around:
  14. Not until after your 071's, please! Are you going to do a 319 Retales variant of the 071? Might be a risky one in 1:76 but I'd definitely take a few. My 1:87 one looks like a midget.
  15. Are people out of their damn minds? What do they be smoking? https://www.ebay.es/itm/314176155413 €400 plus taxes and shipping for A46. @murphaph has an A46 for sale for less than half that price! Jaysus!
  16. That is so good that it's beyond words. If you Photo-Shopped an image of East Wall or somewhere in behind them, it would look real. So, now that you're hitting the ceiling of excellence when it comes to weathering containers and wagons, what's next???
  17. Hi all. In light of the new runs of Ferts and Kegs from IRM, I'm releasing a rake of eight Fert wagons (four packs of two wagons each) from my collection. These are from the original run, and have the following SKU's: IRM-1040A IRM-1041B IRM-1042C IRM-1043D They've only been run a handful of times, and have had the rotating hubs greased to remove the famous squeak and allow them run more freely. They come with their original packaging, and the little detail bags. Vacuum pipe is fitted to one wagon. They can be posted from the Canary Islands, or collected in Dublin in November. Not prepared to split the rake, selling it as a whole. Can't remember what I paid exactly, but €450 EURO sounds fair to me, given the exclusivity and how we were all (specially me) frothing at the mouths for every P42 announcement. Postage at cost if required. Payment can be PayPal or bank transfer, or cash on collection. I'll add photos tomorrow, gonna be home too late to take decent photos today. Also have a rake of IRM's original Keg wagons to list.

  18. Some blue Tara action!!!
  19. Ah, I just can't resist messing sometimes, but I know that we can't have it all at once - nobody could afford anything, even if we DID have it all at once. So, when are you guys shifting manufacturing from China to India, or the Canary Islands?
  20. I'm a patriot at heart, what can I say?!!
  21. I have a big problem today. I can't find the 47' Flats and Mk4 coaches!
  22. Yeah, as soon as they think that I'm sitting down, it's all "me me me, wah wah wah". Ungrateful so and so's. Dug out the box of containers and points just now and am trying to visualise the three lines. I certainly have enough track to fix two lines in place at the weekend, and maybe some of the third line. Rear line will have two sidings, each just long enough for two 141's, and curve back to line up with the sidings. Middle line will be on a Shuttle Controller, no points, just a curve to match the rear line. Haven't fully decided on the front line, probably a loop and one long siding, something like that. Might need a three-way point to save space but we'll see. The idea is that it's a yard area just outside a station, the imaginary station being off the right, and the "shed" inside the IKEA BILLY unit is where the mainline would be. The shed will only have three lines entering, not four, that's just for judging the length. Ah, all fantasy at the moment, let's see if I can even drag my carcass out of bed on Sunday to do something, or just curl up in a ball until Monday.
  23. Another run for A3R today on my lunch break. I have no more track that I'm prepared to chop up until I know what I'm doing with this, so that's it for now. I do have some uncouplng ramps and I guess a SuperTrain blue Tara run would be nice later...
