That 171 finished at €210 plus postage. Looked like it needed a lot of work, so that's definitely a good price for the seller.
-
Absolutely love it!!!

Why no more updates to this one? Did you end up turning it into a man-cave instead? Sofa, TV, fridge, weights etc?
-
They also started hiding sold and withdrawn ads late last year or early this year. Bit sus as they were a way to verify what sort of seller you were dealing with. Adverts.ie told me that it was to do with advertising clicks on ads that weren't live.

Mmmmmmh, boxed mints. Would kill for some After Eights.

Been watching this 171 the past week or so. Looks like a junker, parts donor or a restoration project. 5 bids so far, €200 plus shipping. https://www.ebay.es/itm/266256841867

Yeah, I doubt that when 071's are going for €500 or €600 each!

Where have all of the Kingsbridge layout photos gone? There were some savage photos, and some pretty recent posts, I thought?

If Jeremy is struggling to sell it, at that price, maybe I dodged a bullet!

Still showing as for sale at the moment. https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/murphy-model-class-141/30269541 That Seon Ruiz chap puts in a massive amount of offers. Pretty sure I've bought one or two things where he has offered and then contacted the sellers in private to withdraw his offer.

Gluing a Samsung Galaxy SmartTag or an Apple AirTag inside the body would be an ideal solution for recovering anything stolen.

Accurascale's First O Gauge Locomotive???

How close were the CIE D Class and the BR 08 Class? Aside from the overall shape, almost everything on the body looks different to me. -
Try asking @murphaph, @Dempsey, @Noel , @JasonB, @irishthump , @Georgeconna or any of the members posting their work in the "Workbench" area. There are lots more, I've only listed a handful.

Táilte Tours trip to Downpatrick Saturday 5th August
DJ Dangerous replied to Niles's topic in What's On?
Poor old girl. Hopefully somebody obtains a plethora of photos before she dies, so that IRM can commission a special run of ex-Dublin buses for the UK market. -

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not involved with an RH! -

Can one assume that the bus in question is a restored / preserved KD / KC / Atlantean / Olympian? -
He's a bit of an Evan Kelly, so you either sold it for less than that, or sold it for more than that and now something inside is missing... Sawdust on the cogs or something.

€150 is not a bad price for a 141 given the current market. https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/murphy-model-class-141/30269541

Accurascale's First O Gauge Locomotive???

I suspect the Irish connection is even more vague, like, "I'm @BosKonay and I love trolling you all. Trolls are green so there's an Irish connection" ... -
Sounds like they're the same externally, so.

Deltic Arrival Update - May 2022
DJ Dangerous replied to Warbonnet's topic in British Outline Modelling
Thank you. Now I see it on the underside, there is one pipe at one end, and a little hole where this second pipe should be, then a valve thing at the other end, and a hole where there should probably be a second valve. Absolutely incredible attention to detail!!! -
What's the difference between a Mk2/2A Second Open and a Mk2/2A Tourist Second Open, when talking about donor coaches? Are there external differences or only internal differences?
