Wonderful and uncluttered, just right.

Lovely, @ttc0169. You really show how IRM have no excuse to not release an O Gauge C Class - they’re so small and versatile. On the list once their O Gauge 071 arrives for sure.

“Well observed” is mentioned several times and seems so apt for this masterpiece.

What a loco and what a layout! The Park Royals look wonderful! -
Stunning. The layout, the new Park Royals, the sounds, just stunning.

@Niles is still alive. Excellent. And the beach looks fab with those big UK diesels trundling around.

The Hunslet and Whiterock go hand in hand just perfectly.

I see some concrete sleepers mixed in. Love those concrete sleepers.

Irish Footbridge - Expression of Interest

So….. Will there be an O Gauge version to match the O Gauge 071? Come to think of it, will there even be an OO version? -
Very true on the size of many layouts, but THIS two-car sold out within a few hours when it went live, as fast as, or faster than, the single-cars. The unpowered trailer cars likewise, sold out as fast as the powered single-cars. A three-car 80 may be too long for some, but the two-car railcars are definitely not. I’d have no problem removing the centre car to run a two-car 80 if that was all that space permitted.

These Mk2 coaches will be just under £130 GBP when they arrive in stock on the new Heljan website, so maybe €150 EURO to €160 EURO: Literally half what retailers had originally listed them at. €600-ish for an Irish-izable Mk2A rake is not bad at all! Are you ready, @murphaph? Gonna have to James Woods the poor bloke into the garage for some painting and weathering. The magnetic roofs / rooves are a nice touch.

Biggest challenge for @murphaph will be scratch-building the Dutch Vans, I’d say. I hear that Limerick Gardai have a spare balaclava since Monday night, in case you need a better one. Only used once, too. Anyway, back on topic, it if the MM Mk3’s aren’t even in tooling, yet, it looks like we could be in for one Hell of a wait. The only positives to that are having more time to save for them, and mmmmmmmmaybe somebody knows a man who could convince the family that a DVT would really really really be a good idea. Even if it had to be part of a three-pack to cover the cost, a la the IRM Mk2B/C NIR coach packs.

Only €180 for the four, not bad at all! Murphy Models 071 Class no. 078 for €522 EURO, DCC fitted, from Model-Railway-Emporium: https://www.ebay.es/itm/278074339785 Added it to my wishlist and received an offer, so they may be open to counter-offers if anybody is interested. They also have a few Cravens coaches at €87 each, plus a couple of 201’s, and a load of expensive Irish stock - possibly ex Chris Dyer stock if I recall correctly.
-
Warned @murphaph months ago that he’ll have to build a few rakes of those once he finishes a few Vic Berry rakes… Gives @BosKonay a bit of time to get the 071’s on the shelves.

Not for long you don’t! *Packs lock-picking gear and books flights*

That’s a shame. @Der Rechtsanwalt posted a year ago that they were about to go into production, so I’d been getting my hopes up.
