  1. No but I will keep it in mind. I have been looking at the Osi maps and have seen that the stations on the line were more like halts. There are a few with loops but they are not common. So I am going to build the model as just a straight line to make it look realistic. As for stock I am going to have to get into contact with the IRRS.
  2. The bogies on the engine looks weird or is it just me ( probally me) stay safe MM
  3. Maybe for that tread. The model will show a imaginary part o the line so it may just be a straight line. The track will be 21mm so i need to find out where to get some.... stay safe MM
  4. Thanks all For this layout there will be no pub or are you talking about the Dublin tourism office one?
  5. Well then again if I keep on learning this I may be the right mind not to do it. MM
  6. Your right and I am wrong (again) Part of the vegitation is purple. Anyway I like the photo and if I ever get around to get a silver fox kit I am going to paint white just for the craic
  7. Thanks all for all your help. All I have to do is plan the micro layout
  8. Sounds great. May I ask what era is it. With those box car things (sorry I don't know much on the rail through the USA) in the second last pic is it 90s - present day era?
  9. Thanks Minister I plan the layout to be quite micro at being about 5ft by 1ft long. Does any one know if Fry made any models of the tramways wagons as well as the diesel shunter in this pic? Not the ford rail car a firm favorite rail car of mine. The building on the left of it will be used as an idea for probally my Nexted project. MM
  10. I think the engine was bought of the DSER.
  11. Seen that photo jhb. I think the date is 1920.
  12. Thanks I am giving good though on building a micro layout on the D&B. Going to contact the IRRS to sea if they have anything. I looking for pics of this.......….

  15. Bredin was ahead of his time. Unfortunately he was never given the capital to build an amazing fleet. How many Bredins were built?
  16. You are right @jhb171achill and I wrong. I relised that the As were painted silver when being shown to CIE heads at MV workshops. The As were painted white during testing. @murrayec great little model of yours oon3 sounds quite hard as it's quite small. Keep it up. A16 on its first test Dalkey-Killiney. Stay safe everyone MM
  17. This may be of interest. Hope this pic has not been uploaded on the topic but anyway it's the first ever walker diesel on the west Clare line. Funny it's looks green yet the A class were delivered white before they were painted silver. hope there ain't a copyright on it. MM
