Hornby range for 2014 announced here http://www.hornby.com/shop/2014-range/ Intercity HST and coaches, Coal class 60 and maybe some of the Mark II's for me. Nice range it has to be said.

I dont to be honest as I stocked up on a couple of Kato ones. I do have an old one somewhere that I picked up cheap to turn into a DPU but I know Athearn have made improvements since then. They look good but dont expect it to be Genesis quality.

Pedant mode; That's either a Dash 8 or most likely a Dash 9. You know you're sad when you can tell the difference between US GEs. The loco itself looks awful no matter what colour you paint it. The Bachmann model of it is a beauty though.

They'll have to make some changes Rich, the cabs are now flush without rivets on them and these new ones have developed a big pimple on each side. A new fan to stop them bursting into flames I'd wager. The do make a nice noise though!

Mine arrived this morning... Must say the etches and castings look very nice and I really like the extensive instructions which will be of great guidance to kit building newbies such as myself. Congrats on the venture John, a quality product!

No idea, other than the slightly altered logo and sweeping lines the livery is basically the same. She's a handsome brute, I did say to myself that these were too modern for my era (draw the line once DB Red appeared) but I'll probably cave in and get one, provided Dapol don't make a balls of it!
