The RPSI operated a private charter using their set of Cravens to and from Galway last week,locomotive 080 provided the power-here we see the train pass through Tara junction while returning to Heuston, I was fortunate to be able to work the real train...and the model one.... 085 passes in the opposite direction working the Northwall-Waterford BELL liner.

  3. Revel Matt yellow no’15 and Steve from Railtec transfers has the appropriate IR and IE decals for the forklifts....
  4. Yes DJ-the kits are white so I repainted the bodies and cabs prior to final assembly.
  5. It’s a busy Friday evening at the permanent way sidings with a double headed 082+074 shunting the Weedspray train and other permanent way trains ready for the weekend work. A new siding has been added on the left to store EM50,the Sperry wagon and the road rail milling unit.

Good morning from Tara junction We see B134+B188 hauling an RPSI rail tour though the station, B188 has been fitted with a 645 engine sound chip and both locos sound great while working in multiple, 156+183 also pass hauling the 10 piece Mk2 a/b set. 4001+Belmond locomotive 216 pass on the up main line with the 09:25 Mk4 service from Cork. 6105+220 and a Mk3 push pull set wait at the platform until the Mk4 set clears into the next section

  17. Locomotive B134 continues to provide excellent reliability while conducting trial runs coupled to the RPSI Cravens set and can be seen here making its way to and from the Turntable at Tara junction, all under the watchful eyes of the RPSI & IE personnel.
  18. A wise decision and one to be commended on, Many thanks for you’re quick response Fran, it does give some welcome space between the 121s and 001s and let the bank balance recover...and maybe another one or two 001 purchases in 2021.

  23. The Limerick wagon works to Inchicore/Northwall wagon transfer hauled by 077 passes the Waterford to Limerick wagon transfer hauled by 072 on Tara junction

  25. Two photos taken in Portarlington station this morning of the real spoil wagons, 24/09/2020, Considering the wagons have been in service for a good few years,the bogies and under frame are relativity clean, but the inside of the boxes are heavily weathered.
