  2. CIE Steam on Kirley Junction I did not intend for this video to be so long, over 6 mins. Please give me feedback on what would be a more comfortable length. BTY this is what can happen if you forget to concentrate on what is happening on the tracks.
  3. That's encouraging news, I might start holding my breath for something at the Dublin Show (fingers crossed)
  4. Excellent Guys, hope this is keeping you back Eoin from the important work on the A class bogies!
  5. Excellent addition for distance travellers who arrive famished.
  6. Good luck on the new premises Dave, maybe Santa might bring you a few heaters, looks like cold starts on winter mornings, birr...
  7. Northern Ireland Railways Maroon/Blue livery. A video showing MPD No 63, DL No.2, DH Hunslet 101 with the Enterprise Set and No 81 Class 80 Set.
  8. Finished two tasks this week, well almost. I had Weshty's Ground Signals for longer than I care to remember. Spent ages wiring micro LED's and I have placed 4 signals near the TMD, some are easier to spot than others, to make things harder they are not wired up yet. The second task was to put up more shelves so as I could put all the rolling stock within easy reach. Unfortunately there are still stock in boxes after filling the shelves. Options; more shelves, down size, stop buying/building.
  9. Patrick, may I suggest using a fibreglass brush to remove the factory lettering if you decide to do any changes.
  10. Great addition to your rolling stock Noel, the 'orange' bubbles are rare model.
  11. Great pictures, I wonder where you could dimensions, possible modelling project?
  12. Not as yet, scratch build is the only way at the moment.
  13. Both versions according to the drawings had an outside length of 24' 1" and were 27' 8" over the buffers. The main difference was the 14'wb was a 10T van whereas the 15' was 11T. No's 1825 - 1835 had their underframes built by H & W and the bodies by the UTA at Dunmurry. No's 1886 - 1899 were all built at H & W. No's 1896 - 1899 were fitted with Westinghouse Air Brakes to run with the MED & MPD's. Perhaps to much information...?
  14. Don't forget there were those built in Dunmurry and then Harland & Wolff. Different wheelbases.
  15. Brown Vans were 24' long with a wheelbase of either 14' or 15'. The Cambrian kit looks shorter.
  16. It's atmospheric alright, great pictures of a great layout.
  17. Great display Raymond, your self made Cement Wagons are very impressive with 3 121's behind them. Looking forward to your video.
  18. Some memories of a rail trip to Dublin, Westport & Ballina.
  19. Thanks Tommy, I start with the old tried and tested track rubber, then I finish off it a liquid cleaner, Goo Gone in a CMX cleaner wagon
  20. Delighted to see the progress you are making on these Eoin. Looking forward to seeing it in white metal.
