Fascinating detail Ivor, great to have this knowledge for us all to see. I feel it deserves a separate thread rather than crowding Hunslet's Layout threat and made it easier searching for this information at a later date. Moderators what do you think?

Another superb job Ivor. From your extensive knowledge what was the usual formation of a Class 70 Set? Am I correct in saying the original Set had two Power Cars and it was not until the 70's that Driving Trailers came into use? Any clarification is welcome please.

I have tried, not very successfully, to video and control train movements at the same time and fallen between two stools. My camera kept dying mid shot hence the rapid cuts between scenes. Apologies for the poor quality.

Did the BUT's not have a time on Enterprise duties before the arrival of the Class 70's?

Still keeping productive on the Work Bench. Got hold of some MIR kits, Bogie Cement and Flats. Added a bit more detail to the Cements, the hand rails were tricky to do but worth it I think. Now for primer and paint. The tanks were ivory but unusually the underframe and bogies were black on the Bogie Cements, some tricky masking required!
