  4. There are already four IRM’s on eBay at £50+ above the original asking price. My intention is simply to clear the decks. Stephen
  5. Yes, sorry about that. I was having trouble using the classified section of For Sale or Wanted. A word in the right ear and things appear to be working ok now. Anyway, they are a pair of Silver Fox A/001 class locos in Black and Tan/Super Train liveries looking for new homes following the arrival of the uptodate IRM versions. It is difficult to know what they are worth. There is an SF IR version for sale on eBay for £139.99, approx €165. Stephen
  6. Silver Fox Models A class A7R. BNIB. €125 including P & P, elsewhere at cost.

  8. What underframe did you put under the fitted H van, a reworked PW one or another?
  9. Where’s the spreader from, please? Stephen

  12. I suppose a run of dolomite hoppers is next! Stephen
  13. Some lovely stuff there. Stephen
  14. Correct me if I’m wrong but 26595 is a former magnesite wagon. There is a picture on this forum of one converted into a hopper wagon. I think it was at Ballinacourty, so presumably it was used for the transport of dolomite. Stephen
  15. The Triang/Hornby L1 4-4-0 is similar to many Irish 4-4-0’s. Stephen
  16. New, unused Silver Fox Models Co-Co 012. Made redundant by the arrival of the IRM version. £125 including P&P.
  17. New, unused Silver Fox Models A class Co-Co A7R. Made redundant by the arrival of the IRM model of the same. £125 including p&p.
  18. Meaning no disrespect to anyone working in the rail industry, the UK government went to the wrong people for an overview of a fixed link between GB and NI. They should have gone to the oil and gas industry, which has bucketloads of experience of building deep water structures. Stephen
  19. £ I also have a Silverfox C but look forward to IRM producing one in the not too distant future. Stephen

The latest additions to my fleet of Irish wagons.
  23. Look forward to it. Stephen
  24. I would concur with Iain Rice approach of 25 grams per axle plus brass axle bearings. Operation will be so much better when everything is to a common standard. Stephen
  25. As Mr Punch would say ‘that’s the way to do it’. The long established manufacturers in the UK all have long leadtimes, very often with little idea of actual dates. Keep up the excellent work. Stephen
