  1. Yep, due to security issues with the flash uploader, vbulletin in their wisdom have dropped support for it I'll see if I can come up with something
  2. Absolute master class!! I can see a long queue of dapol cleaners coming your way!!!
  3. Slight segue but I'm following this build http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/1198/entry-11019-falling-behind-a-leader-story-pt1/
  4. Just perfect. Love the clean sharp lines and detail and the 'just right' lick of weathering!
  5. Just beautiful! As Glenderg says people don't appreciate a weeks work has gone into this build already, before even a luck of paint!
  6. Looking fantastic and highly inspirational!
  7. Hi Tony, You are very welcome indeed to the site and we value your interaction and details! It's a fascinating area and one I think we're all keen to explore! Imagine no more track cleaning, power bus worries, circuits, frogs, !! It's the way of the future!
  8. want! want! want!
  9. Hey Tom, What kind of PC are you working off, and what type of phone?
  10. Wow! So recent and clear in memory, yet now so distant in reality!
  11. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Irish-Railways-Lima-MKlll-7-Coach-Set-Resprayed-Into-The-Irish-Railways-Livery-/131102692810?ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:IE:3160 Full rake of MK3 repaints
  12. Nice work Glenderg. The finish is factory sharp! Any more pics? Are they on the market?
  13. Absolutely gorgeous! Tell us more?!
  14. Gradients are a bit of a dark art! Your videos and experimentation are very useful indeed. When I first planned gradients on my layout, I got the woodlands scenics 2% and 4% grades. I was actually shocked at how little you could pull up a serious gradient - even with modern locos like the 181s or 071s. In the end, I all but removed gradients entirely, and kept things on the flat, tho I do plan a helix and storage level underneath the terminus, so am watching with interest! I've seen excellent reviews of the DCC Concepts powerbase too (their undertrack steel plate and magnet system)
  15. What kind of gradients are we talking about kirley?
  16. The wierd and wonderful world of model railways :)
  17. As a general rule of thumb, I run a dropper to the centre of each (adjusted) electrofrog point, and to every length of track (normally to each 'standard' 3 foot length of peco flex, but also to shorter pieces). The result tho is spectacular. My little 040 Sentinel can shuffle along over the entire station throat at speed step 1 without a failure.
  18. The more wierd the more wonderful!
  19. On cable, I used Multicore security cable,2x18awg,PVC152m for droppers and connecting accessory decoders to motors, etc. Eco wire 12awg 65/30 red 600V (and black) – will be the main and accessory bus wires(from Radionics)
  20. 40x10! Pictures please!!
  21. LOL some loading issues there I foresee :)
  22. Thanks Dave, every time I take a photo like that, I feel the temptation to rip out all my dodgy ply and have you round to bring the terminus boards up to the standard of the rest of your install!!
  23. Wow± Practically brand new too!
  24. Wow - that looks bang on!!
