  1. Brilliant
  2. Thanks Heirflick - just a plonk really. Plan is to get some durty concrete down around the area, maybe fence it off a little, and needs some fuel tanks and details, but I think I'm happy with this layout. The battery house will move to live beside the main shed, more like the prototype
  3. The weight and tyres make some difference! Almost at the stage where you'd be happy with her now!
  4. Gorgeous shots - lovely to see so much loco and per way stuff
  5. A few quick updates from whats evolving into a mess / fueling point
  6. Or the Dart running the enterprise ?
  7. Yep, due to security issues with the flash uploader, vbulletin in their wisdom have dropped support for it I'll see if I can come up with something
  8. Absolute master class!! I can see a long queue of dapol cleaners coming your way!!!
  9. Slight segue but I'm following this build http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/1198/entry-11019-falling-behind-a-leader-story-pt1/
  10. Just perfect. Love the clean sharp lines and detail and the 'just right' lick of weathering!
  11. Just beautiful! As Glenderg says people don't appreciate a weeks work has gone into this build already, before even a luck of paint!
  12. Looking fantastic and highly inspirational!
  13. Hi Tony, You are very welcome indeed to the site and we value your interaction and details! It's a fascinating area and one I think we're all keen to explore! Imagine no more track cleaning, power bus worries, circuits, frogs, !! It's the way of the future!

  15. Hey Tom, What kind of PC are you working off, and what type of phone?
  16. Wow! So recent and clear in memory, yet now so distant in reality!

  18. Nice work Glenderg. The finish is factory sharp! Any more pics? Are they on the market?
  19. Absolutely gorgeous! Tell us more?!
  20. Gradients are a bit of a dark art! Your videos and experimentation are very useful indeed. When I first planned gradients on my layout, I got the woodlands scenics 2% and 4% grades. I was actually shocked at how little you could pull up a serious gradient - even with modern locos like the 181s or 071s. In the end, I all but removed gradients entirely, and kept things on the flat, tho I do plan a helix and storage level underneath the terminus, so am watching with interest! I've seen excellent reviews of the DCC Concepts powerbase too (their undertrack steel plate and magnet system)
  21. What kind of gradients are we talking about kirley?
  22. The wierd and wonderful world of model railways :)
