  1. Re footboards and numbering on the Genesis coaches (in general if I recall) Detailing Optional lower footboards Full brake rigging Finely detailed panelling Painted interiors Fully lined liveries to original company specifications Unique running numbers between single coaches and packs - carefully selected to fit with companies numbering systems
  2. I don't normally collect any British outline but quite like the appearance of the Class 92 in CS livery. Can someone briefly outline what the difference would be between 92010 and 92038? Unfortunately the sleeper packs seem to sold out
  3. What does the Ph.1 SO and Ph.2 SO mean?
  4. Thanks for that, Fran. And are there one or two chips in each ICR set?
  5. Bump…. @BosKonay. @Warbonnet …. just coupling an ICR set
  6. Not sure if I can afford the sound fitted models at the moment, and if I did get they may be displayed only as this is not my era. if I get non sound, will chips be available later if I decide to add sound and for how long? Are there two sounds decoders in the sound fittted models one on the the A3 and a motorless sound chip in the dummy loco? How easy are these to access and swap out between sets?
  7. That’s just oxidization, if you scrape away the top layers from a new butter slab you’ll see the true straw livery beneath
  8. Back flushing a deposit in Jax B? No way Hose! I have actually traveling in one of these but that's where my personal interest in these would end. I might get one because it is an Irish model but would someone tell me what a bowling ball marker or whatsis means pls?
  9. Build it and they will come ..... I'd say more will become available if the new 141/181 has an inbuilt speaker and better access to the rather cramped previous edition
  10. I've ordered some but did anyone find any photos of them or the Tea
  11. Are there any photos of the Lyons tea on 42' flats. I've seen two on 20'? Any photos of these Harp containers?
  12. It’s hard to believe that there’s a market for an O gauge model from NI when relatively few RTR models have been released in OO. Nice model though I have no track to put it on
  13. Will try again next week. Thanks
  14. Any reason that the keg loads in the Acc. EU site are not visible on the IRM site to buy with some forklifts? Stock In physically different locations?
  15. Not a fan, I think we got that part. Entitled to your opinion of course, guess you’ll have more money left over for more IRM products or to donate to the Ukraine where that bomb would be more useful right now
  16. Very nice! Wonder if there has been improved tooling for conversion to 21mm?
  17. The Hornby is code 100 and the conductive and insulated joiners above will join them. But Peco also does a code 75 track and if you need to mix them on the same layout, there are joiners that will Segway the two different height rails together. You might do this if (say) you had existing track you wanted not to waste and placed it in tunnels or on a ‘behind the backboard’ fiddle yard etc. but wanted to join it to Code 75 track that you had selected for use in the main viewing area as it looks a little better ( more prototypical height)
  18. No chance, we haven’t reached 21mm yet, let alone 36.75
  19. Were they commonplace in Ireland in the 50s? Far fewer road vehicles then. Interested to know what was popular on Ireland’s road from a modeling perspective
  20. Finally got my order in with abebooks but tic-toc on this side of the world
  21. Although the quality has improved over yesterdecades, as a generalization, B&W from the 1950s has a lot better quality than many color shots from the 1970. If the garish blues or newer PW stock offends, best stay with the B&Ws? Hadn't realized that they Tara’s had the last 2 digits emboldened high on the side to ID the wagon
  22. I’ve also had this issue propelling the Bachmann RPSI green coaches run with A42 just because they were to hand and green and with the 42’ keg liner if I recall correctly when the A class is coupling to and propelling the rake. Same issue loco running under the wagon coupler and lifting the wagon which may run straight but propelling into a siding is a no-no. Once hooked the wagon cannot regain the rail even if the loco then hauls the rake as the vertical bar on the loco TLC is now within the circumference of the wagons TLC.
  23. Photo is 1992 or after as 181 was in CIE/IR transitional livery in 1991
  24. What happened to the TPO?
