Hi bs819 & welcome back to railway modelling, like yourself I'm intending to go DCC when I get my layout down. There are a number of DCC systems available, some I believe are in your price range & of course from what I know it depends on the individuals pocket & choice. There's lots of info on here from members who have tried & tested various DCC systems & will be more than willing to give you advoice on what's available, right now though it might be a bit early ( am / pm ) in the day ! I'll be interested in your progress, keep us posted, BTB
That's a great find Sulzer201, reminded me of the night when I was about 9, I crept downstairs while the house slept just to look again at a book I had bought that day. Wouldn't mind but the book was in b & w, that was a long time ago & I still remember the moment, slept like a babe the rest of the night !! Thanks for posting

Tube 2 has talks about something called " Unstoppable Signal Processing Device " or Power 1, for SLOW ! & I mean SLOW .....

Truly great loss to Munster rugby & Ireland. At such a young age & with so much more to give, he will be missed by & remembered by many, condolences to his family, RIP

Eoin, that's pure craftsmanship, craftsmanship of a higher scale, your attention to detail is astonishing, I can coly look & admire your skills, my hat off to you sir.....
Hi all & thanks, & IT no offence taken, the ad do's say o.n.o. I just thought someone might be interested in this & enjoy it & not have it sitting in a box, but I'll take over €300 if anyone wants to offer that....btb
Hi guys, I have this Bachmann Deltic Class 55 DCC Fitted " PINZA " with sound & crew for sale. It's been in its box, in a box as I don't have my layout yet. its in absolute perfect condition & has only been run on my dining room table Xmas 2015, & because of that it probably could do with a proper running in. All accessories are still in the box untouched. I have had the loco id changed to No 1 as I did intend keeping it to run with some of my UK BR stock. You cannot buy this model now from Hattons as its completely sold out & has been for some time. I'm asking for €300.00 O.N.O. It can be collected in Dublin city centre by arrangement or post at buyers cost. Any questions don't hesitate to contact me, preferably by PM.
If anyone on here knows how to reduce this image please do ! TIA

This has been discussed on here before & I said I was in that shop in the late 60's or there abouts then & I say the same now, so even if you played with the Duchess I say it closed in the late 60's or early 70's,
