    RIP Bob Symes

Sad news, he was an ambassador for railways and railway modelling in general. Was good on tomorrows world too
  2. Post it here.......
  3. A good proportion of the range has been covered by other manufacturers. Keep in mind that not everyone collects kits either, only the few and usually you can charge higher prices

  12. Decent price for one, thats roughly what I paid for mine.
  13. The Kato/Hobbytrain V65 is the best of the lot; very heavy, worm drive, double reduction gearing, will easily pull 100+ wagons without a second thought......
  14. For 546, given most of the interior is hidden behind the sealed up windows, is there any need to model the interior. Not as if the model is 2 inches from your face....
  15. Making your own backscenes is the only way
  16. Drama queens - and thanks to whoever it was for the LURVELY feedback
  17. Ive one too - there were lots of these available 20 years ago when the final batch of A's were being cut up in Inchicore, the ITG sold plenty as a fundraiser
  18. One wonders 'if' the Buttevant/Cherryville Junction disasters had not occured, would the timber bodied stock have been replaced so quickly...
  19. Was there a special batch of 20ft flats for this working, all painted red (under the dirt) as they had sparkproof brake shoes?
  20. 3 inch steel plate works well. Also why not make your own backscene, take a photo and use a large format printer......
  21. You cant get it now its that good...
  22. Kadee NEM gauge does the same... Time for Noel to come along and say the same thing in 4 paragraphs
