  1. Here is one of the most photographed cut downs at the moment.
  2. Great news. These have always been my favourite IRM wagon release.
  3. Couple more photos. Thanks to all the train crew that ensure we enjoy the sounds of an EMD in full flight!
  4. Here’s a good little clip of a DVT along for the ride Also 201 pulling the Mk2 stock
  5. Thanks to everyone at the RPSI for a fantastic day yesterday.
  6. Can’t wait for these to arrive. Hopefully I will have a layout sorted again.
  7. So how about a BR Class 20 and then use the chassis to produce a NIR Mk2 hauler!
  8. Just announce those 80 Class DEMU’s! You know it makes sense!
  9. Yes static grass. I’m sorry I can’t really give you details as my modelling gear is currently all packed up other than it was from the WWS grass range. It’s available on eBay.
  10. The only way I found to avoid problems with the kadee magnets was to hinge them and motorised them up and down as uncoupling required. If you watch the attached video link from about 4 minutes and 5 seconds you will see what I mean.
  11. Looks fantastic. Well done.
  12. I reckon something 2 axle and after the quick sales of the CIE A class models easily justified.
  13. I have only ever dealt with Charlie at a few shows. Usually the stall is queued out and over a very short space of time answers endless questions. On asking any questions you get swift, no bull answers, take it or leave it. His style maybe different but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. Happy show customer. Never tried a mail order transaction.
  14. Q3. Looks like Lisburn
  15. Massive thanks to my better half for the birthday present in the form of 054! Love the IR A classes.
  16. Well the layout is stripped and Ballyercall is officially closed. Thanks for all the positive feedback and comments over the years. Happy new year to everyone. Here’s a few images from the last couple of days of operation.
  17. Believe me I would be happy to flog it as layouts are a pain to store!
  18. Well the end has arrived. Here’s a rather long video of trains coming and going at Ballyercall. There might be one more video and then it’s box it up time.
  19. ESU sound decoders can have a current overload set to operate. I would remove the decoder, refit the blanking plate and try on standard DC. See if the motor runs hot or if the loco runs significantly slower than you would expect. It sounds more like a faulty motor than anything else.
  20. Happy Christmas to everyone
  21. Happy Christmas and thanks for a great modelling year.
  22. Back to the A Class. Great looking models with great lighting functions
  23. Great class of loco. Always looked at home on the SVR. Ideal for a preserved railway of its size.
