Drama on the high street junction when smoke was seen coming from the rear of SE 31-emergency services were quickly on the scene and extinguished what could have been a serious fire….

The classic CIE bus stop which was recently removed from my former hometown post office building was in poor condition….until I restored it to its former glory-a memory for me which stretches back over 40 years…

To celebrate the 37th anniversary of the formation of Bus Eireann,Dublin Bus and Irish rail-we see an M,D and KR class buses on the station road at Tara junction.

The year is 1989 and we see brand new TE 1 working a service to Sligo,seen here crossing the railway bridge on Tara jctn as 080 passes underneath working a Sligo-Connolly service

Thants a great collection of classic Ford's on the railway bridge Noel - Mark 1 & Mark 2 Escorts, a Mark 1 Capri (another one just visible on the decline), Mark 2 Capri, a Mark 1 Cortina, and most special of all, an Escort XR3 the quintessential "hot hatch" of it's generation (along with the golf GTI of course) - lovely memories from my youth. 

Layout is fantastic as always.
