Love the exhaust looks so realistic and the NIR one is first class.

Its well worth checking out Neill's other videos

Although mainly narrow gauge the broad gauge side of things seems to be getting bigger with SLNCR & GNR railcrs nd rail busses.

I love the sound of the crossley engine sound chip...i wonder what loco it is out of

I do believe it diesel R/C engine coupled to a generator.

The generator is connected to a set of maxon motors on each bogie and the speed is controlled by a electronic speed controller (ESP) in series with the motors.

The ESP is connected to a R/C reciever.

This small diesel engine/generator set up has been done on the 16MM narrow gauge site a couple of years back of which Neil is a member of.

I had the pleasure of meeting Neil a few years back at the Narrow Gauge show at Birmingham and seeing his large scale collection of Irish narrow gauge loco's / railcars.

Have a look at his live steam Pheonix on you tube.

Amazing. I always thought if I ever got time, a 00 gauge West Cork layout would be a dream come true, but a G scale West Cork in the garden.... wow. Live steam Bandon tanks, ex-MGWR 0.6.0 tank engines, No. 90, C class diesels, AEC railcars and elderly 50ft bogie coaches and six-wheelers, all against a backdrop of beet wagons in sidings......
