derek Posted November 9, 2025 Posted November 9, 2025 The road surface on the bridge where the ould fella is "walking" is something else. Fantastic 1 1
Metrovik Posted November 9, 2025 Posted November 9, 2025 I thought this was railway modelling. What you've shown us are clearly pictures of the prototype! 2 1
Mol_PMB Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Stunning. What a beautiful layout and a nicely balanced palette of colour and detail so it all looks ‘just right’ together. 1
Tullygrainey Posted December 20, 2025 Author Posted December 20, 2025 Not a lot happening at the Kilmore goods shed today. 15 4
Mol_PMB Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 Lovely modelling! Maybe they’re all trying to work out a story to explain the missing crate of beer? 1 1

Popular Post Tullygrainey Posted December 28, 2025 Author Popular Post Posted December 28, 2025 (edited) KiIlmore's official photographer @Patrick Davey came by the other day and tried out his new wide angle lens. It was a cold day and the stationmaster has just lit fires in all the grates. In other news, a grounded van has appeared in the goods yard. Edited December 28, 2025 by Tullygrainey 14 8

Colonel Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Flew with Logan Air to Orkney back in September and the complimentary tea or coffee come with a Caramel wafer. There are cheaper ways to buy them, of course. 4
Tullygrainey Posted March 2 Author Posted March 2 Kilmore is booked for the North Down Model Show at Bangor Grammar School, 28 & 29 March 2026 so there's a list of things that still need doing if we're to get it there. By moving some furniture out of the front room I made space to set the layout up in its entirety so I could do some debugging. And heck was it needed! Dead locos, derailments, dodgy track alignment and duff soldering among other things but the snag list is getting shorter and I was able to just watch trains going round for a change. Hope to see some of you in Bangor at the end of the month. Here's hoping this whole caboodle fits in the car Kilmore.mov Alan 11 6
Patrick Davey Posted March 2 Posted March 2 (edited) Delighted to see the layout in person today, it looks fabulous and will be a big hit at this and all other shows!! By far the most authentic recreation of the BCDR. Great stuff, Alan!! Edited March 3 by Patrick Davey 9 1 1
Patrick Davey Posted March 2 Posted March 2 If the BCDR main line had survived into the 1960s, this might have been possible: IMG_3908.MOV 7
