The Train Man Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) just viewed the new site - well done shem and the best of luck with her.....i mean the site not...ah forget it!!! we will have to christen it and youre buying:cheers: I always am where you are concerned!! We are pleased and excited to announce that our new website has officially launched. We have completely redesigned the layout with simplicity, ease of use and a strong focus on finding great product in mind. We believe a website is never truly finished, it's a launching point for the many exciting new features that will be rolling out now and in the future. Watch out for special offers and discounts over the next few days! There are still a few little "bugs" to sort and a bit of "housekeeping" such as loading images and product etc, but we are working on that. We hope you all like the new site and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is more than welcome!!!!! Seamus Edited December 14, 2013 by The Train Man
Portoman Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Tried it again and it stills looks like old site
The Train Man Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Tried it again and it stills looks like old site Try emptying your browsing cache if you are using chrome. Most definitely up-orders coming through hot and heavy!!!
BosKonay Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 DNS for me still resolves to the old site too - 212.147.150.18 The DNS is reporting a new IP Answered from ns9.dnsireland.com (80.93.23.86) themodelshop.ie. 14400 IN A 217.78.0.167 So I reckon it's Eircom being silly slow buggers as always
Broithe Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) Try emptying your browsing cache if you are using chrome. Most definitely up-orders coming through hot and heavy!!! I'm using Chrome without clearing for a while and it's still showing me the new one - the world will catch up with us soon enough.. The picture for the Airfix Me 109 is wrong, unless they heavily modified the F version for vertical take-off - add that to your To Do List... Edited December 14, 2013 by Broithe
WRENNEIRE Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Took the words right out of my mouth there Bosko........
BosKonay Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Yep Looks like DNS propagation. In lay terms, the whole of the internet hasn't 'noticed' that the site's moved. Some ISPs are faster at copping on than others - Eircom being one of the notoriously slow ones
Warbonnet Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Love the layout and design Seamus, much better than before. Just need to get those images up so I can see what I want to buy
Sulzer201 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I second Warbonnet, great looking site format and can't wait for the images of the goodies.

Me 109's never took off vertically even if the site opened horizontally
Broithe Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Me 109's never took off vertically even if the site opened horizontally Currently showing this.. ..for the Me 109F - capable of going straight up - could have changed the course of the war..
