Midland MRC Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Midlands Model Railway Club will be holding their Annual Exhibition on Sunday 14th September 2014. This year we are moving to a new venue, The Killeshin Hotel on the Dublin Road in Portlaoise. The show will run from 11am until 5pm. A full list of layouts and traders will follow closer to the event. However we do still have some space left, so if anyone has a layout that they would be interested in exhibiting or trader who would like a table, please get in contact with Craig at the club or send a PM. heirflick Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 lads - be advised that there is very limited parking at the front of the hotel, but there is a large underground one at the right hand side. anyone driving a panzer or similar vehicle should be aware of the tight enterence! Quote
Midland MRC Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 There is also an overflow car park at the rear should the underground car park get full and also for high vehicles such as vans etc Quote

Owen was so good at his salesmanship that he got a deposit for one of his dart units from me without even opening his mouth!! anyhu, on to the layouts.. Tyworld Monastery Line Quote

Broithe Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Right, finally sorted out a few pics from a couple of weeks ago... Dave, Heirflick and Murrayec. Eoin's development stages - possibly to emerge in 1/76th, also.. Last minute adjustments.... The lovely, though slightly risqué, quarry layout - if you've ever wondered where track rubbers come from, or where they go when they're worn out.... Quote
Kirley Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Thanks for the pictures, nice to see some new layouts Quote
Broithe Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 And the last few.. I don't think that anybody has ever closed those bottom gates and filled the lock up.... Quote
