Warbonnet
Lads can anyone tell me what is the difference between an ordinary member and a junior member? Once you pass a certain amount of posts (five I think) you go from junior member to member.

Thanks I cant give myself all the credit because I get help with a fair bit of the stuff I do I'm currently in the process of deciding whether or not to build a bigger layout as the one I have at the moment is too small and I'm quickly running out of space to put stock and when everything is on the line at the same time shunting is a nightmare

BosKonay
'Bigger Layout' I'm afraid is a disease that never leaves! I'm building a layout that has just under 600 feet of track, and I'm already feeling it's a 'wee bit small'
RedRich
600 feet you're making me jealous Stephen. I haven't even got my man shed built yet. Luckily the inlaws are builders. Rich,

If you have the extra space, go for it! I will be getting some help with the scenic side of the layout myself as I feel that is the one area where things get the better of me. I don't mind the ballasting and road surfaces. It's twisting florists wire to make trees that does my head in. Rich,

Irish Freight Models
Hi All Irish Freight Models checking in here !. Thanks to Boskonay for the invite. Best of luck to the new forum. A little intro, i formerly posted as Dieselman on the older forums and many will know me better as that and also my "Annestown" layout, which i hope has provided inspiration for other modellers to enter the hobby. Although not a professional modelmaker, I produce many items of Irish freight rolling stock as well as resprays etc, and have done work for many of the members on here ! The super moderator (gotta love that title) has kindly provided a thread for me in the shops/producers section, so i can post there, photos etc.. My youtube channel can be found here, hopefully this works, http://www.youtube.com/user/tbmsp?feature=mhee just click on "videos" regards Tom Edited April 22, 2012 by Irish Freight Models
