  1. yeah seen that a lad Measured them on RMWEB too and they were spot on. Any Behind that couch yet? Will the 37's leap ahead of the Deltic so or even the Manor? Stay Tuned! (the Free postage swayed it I think )
  2. Hi Robert, As I painted a number of MM's 071 into grey without the front Grab Rails I kept those and used them on this one. just popped them into the drill holes! (presume you mean those?) I used Class 31 buffers as the white metal ones are a bit chunky. Replaced the brake hoses with finer white metal ones and I will have brass horns on it too.
  3. Hi all, Long time in the works, Too long! MIR 071 with Proto 2000 chassis and LED headlight being test run yesterday. It proto 2000 chassis had a circuit boat throwing out 2V to the head lights which was too low to run anything so cut the yellow and white on the decoder and hard wire the other wires to the pick ups and used 12V LEDs with resistors in them. Horns to go on next , wipers and then some weathering 20220626_225748.mp4 20220626_225700.mp4
  4. Skipped through it. the wagons he was using had about a 5 Degree droop on there couplings so no wonder he had issues. In the end it proves you can beat a P

  7. They ran that at a model show a few years back I'm sure. not even in a case!!!
  8. Nice too late ordering one, Would of been a two tone Green with the old Music installed. Maybe there will be a magic stock change at a later stage. Nimbus with sound would of been my first choice!
  9. Looks Great fun and a lovely day to boot!
  10. Sorted pretty quickly by the lads. I actually forgot I had a standing order into IRM. Thanks for the Patience lads.
  11. Yep, Lots of lads use it for Sculpting Figures. I'd Fill a seam and then smooth off the water and my finger of some suitable tool At all stages from initial mixing to final setting Milliput responds to the use of water. To aid manipulation and avoid sticking, fingers and tools should be kept moistened with water. There are certain instances when work may be carried out in a gentle stream of water under a tap. To obtain a smooth finish, mould or apply Milliput and then immediately wipe and smooth gently with wet finger or with a fine textured moist cloth. Id
  12. Well enjoy that Phillip. Sound fab.
  13. All good, Running out of the Reliable Green Stuff so need to find something to replace it. MIlliput is find you can smooth it down with some water and wipe the excess away
  14. Good effort, Beauty of these Scalescenes is you can reprint and Refine each build. I know I did!

  16. Thats what he Said Through Fran. Same for me TBH, I was Sending in a few bob each month from Jan but nothing that I can see taken off the order price?. I have sent mail direct there 2 days back so I am sure it will be resolved. When you get back up from the Lie down and have those Deltics sorted someone might take a gander at the mail I sent. No panic.
  17. Good News , next week so. Looking forward to seeing these, I was down Ring Looking over at the Old Mine Site Last Weekl! Ah sure not much gets flown from UK to Ireland these days. Building stuff has been killed of a fair bit now TBH.
  18. For the Matchbox group build on Britmodeller the 1976 Lightning F.6 in 74 Sqn Scheme. Another Matchbox kit, Meteor NF.11 Matchbox Beaufighter in a Revell Box.
  19. What's the filler you are using there Demps? Looking forward to seeing this coming along.
  20. Rad the Post: " I recently received a demand of full payment for 13 Magnesite wagons when I had already paid £200 + towards the order" It seems the monies paid were not put against the order. I am sure the lads will sort that out promptly EDIT: And after an email or 2 sorted
  21. Thanks for the comment Phillip, Sure am delighted, Takes about 30 mins to get it sorted for sailing, Thats the down side. The Park is a small park next to the GAA Stadium, was before waste ground so badly needed green space in Cork TBH. Not enough of them. As you say no fear in Losing contact but the area is a tad small for Turning my one given one screw operation, Mind you the 2.4 stuff will be out of eye sight well after you loose contact. It is handy enough now for Launching and recovery and the lads a gonna (sushh) insert some rings into the 'Quay' wall to hold the model boats. Rumours are now the council what to run a road through it...
  22. Thanks Lads Some short vids of it in action today down the Marina Park in Cork.
