If the couplings don't recentre then the Kaydees the uncoupling function wont work correctly. The coupling are a pain to change in those coaches. Not sure why companies where there designed so you can pull them out quite easily for replacement and then another company comes along with a slightly different solution that jut does not quite get their. piccy with the baccy coupling inserted and now no droop. the droop was going under other stock when being propelled.

I stuck Baccy Coupling into the A Class, Solved the drop and also the hook wobbling about at severe angles.

Would not be too happy looking at that silvering TBH. What I would do it take that off, Gloss the area, Fresh Decal , Re sit it properly, Gloss over again and then matt. Did good few back in the day. Should of done one for myself!

Better check your Cupboard! -
I don't get it , normally you are giving out about the price that some lads are asking for other bits and bobs and then ok with this one where the price is actually over double the original selling price? Honest though! Still a good price for someone.

Was in Wuppertal over the weekend and found the most fantastic model shop I have ever been in (no doubt some of you would of been there too) Had my eye on these Leccys for a long time so picked one up there and two kinda suitable coaches.. Hope to do a small Winter layout Just need so build up a wee bit of stock and some track. Fab model shops in Dusseldorf too. 20230113_114721.mp4 Highly Recommend the Bierbrunnen, Rohwinkeler Str.21 for refreshment too, Top quality beer from the fountain.

Aluminium/Silver/ Stainless Steel Effect
Georgeconna replied to dave182's question in Questions & Answers
I Have sued these paint, Airbrushed straight from the bottle, Use a Black Base first Marks Have them Alclad has really been Surpassed at this stage, AK Extreme Metal is more hard Wearing than Alclad which easily Rub off with handling. -
Nail on the head there, Perfect.

Cheers, Came back out today and started her up and bingo the LED is shining brightly so nothing to do right now. I wonder is the Vibration of the sound no helping poorly soldered joints, It does Vibrate a fair ol bit, I will turn the Vol down a wee bit. Could be either the Socket or the LED soldering. 2 points. If happens again I check it out further but I will leave alone for now. Cheers for the input!

hi Lads, Anyone have this problem, about 20hrs running on the clock, Left hand LED is working as you can see it flickers when I change the lighting but does not stay on. Possible dry joint? Looks Like a will have to take apart this yoke at some stage to investigate, bit of a dissapointment tbh given little use it has had. 20221231_230710121.mp4

I use Cobalt Digitals, Slow, First Batch I had was Duff, Manufacturing fault but they took them all back, (14 of them) and replaced the whole lot and no problems since. I can control these from the DCC handset and are easy to program and have inbuilt frog switching also which is great. I use them for the Fiddle yard too. 12 Cobalts are now 360 notes. Big Swallow for sure!

Those boats needed a large weight as a keel in order to float properly. We have some back in the day, Great in the bath!
