  1. Agree, New Wagon Serials etc. Would be mad not to, however in a good few many months time.
  2. That Hotel was a lovely building too replaced by well nothing worth a second glance. Sorry I cant be of help but a side pic here: http://catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000592055 You might be able to Draw and paint one from it?
  3. If only!. Burton on the Water is just lovely, Model Shop there too. Lovely Little Stream for messing about in runs through the Village. Fairford and Brize down the road too! A Trip to Chipping Norton to see the restored Bliss Tweed Mill and Chimney is also well worth the Journey if your in the Area. Modern Buildings simply do not compare.
  4. The pub on that Film is O'Gormans, Does any one know what station was this shot at (stupid questions I know). Mad Scenes. Looked up Lambes on an internet search and like a lot of Country Pubs it has closed. I can't seen any pub now on Google Maps next to Ballybrophy.
  5. Try the Mark II's, The couplings are horrendous of those too. Test ran a couple a month ago and they looks pityful.
  6. Noel, I would suggest looking at getting a Set of Studio Scale P&T TPO decals as the ones there look a wee bit crude.
  7. So its staying in bits in the box so?
  8. Dam the Work Dinner is Scheduled for 2000hrs, Hope this runs on time, Don't fancy missing the Mushroom soup.
  9. Cafe was wonderful, Nice and bright, Twas like being at a birthday party when we walked in, 2 Suasage Rolls, 2 Teas and a Mini Twix, €4.20. It is nice not to be financially raped once in a while.
  10. 7th Branchline Explorer, Give us a wave as ye pass Portlaoise, Up there pinting with Work . hope to get onto the Platform to see it pass by...
  11. Fab> John Izzard Best O Gauge Layout Award: A Well Deserved and a very nice Gent to talk to. Got some nice info re O Gauge and kit sourcing and building You cant forget that waistcoat either! Congrats to the others also.
  12. Another Fab day down the 'not so Sunny' south east. Some new layouts on show and some Familiar faces and nice chats. The Large O Gauge layout will be some draw for sure when complete. Looked Fab and only track on the boards. There was a nice small O Gauge layout too which showed what can be done in 7ft! Perfect. Came away with no gifts for myself this time. A book on Trolly Buses for me Dad was about it. The Accurscale Hoppers were sublime, the detail under them was unreal. A glass layout viewed from underneath is a must along with a Andrew Barcley Loco from Hattons and colliery and some serious weathering! Definitely the premier Model Railway show in Ireland. Looking forward to next year. Well done WMRC.
