Hi M8s, Struggling away with the modelling Lark. The good Weather does not help but on the plus side great for Paint Drying but kids and work have me bushed. Treated myself to this O kit and it turned out pretty ok. I wonder did O gauge get its name from people saying "Oh thats expensive!!" .Some errors were made by me in the rush to make my little train like one side actually being glued upside down FFS. Slight Preshading with white variations on the planks to get a subtle difference int he Texture. the Decals went on Sweet and were included not like the OO gauge model I recently built. A Dapol OO Brake van and N gauge Siphon are pictured for size comparison. Anyway here's some picture of my Little Big Train. Of course it is SR!! Hope Dapol bring out some other little SR Tanks, A little P class would be nice as the roxly Kit itself is pretty Expensive when you add in the Extras! http://www.roxeymouldings.co.uk/product/305/7l10-secr-p-class-0-6-0t/.

How long before IR H&S say the Bridge will be too Dangerous to use for Pedestrians and will close the thing to Greenway anyway. As above Derailed Said, useless timetable leaving at pointless times, No Sunday service so who is gonna use this to travel to Wexford over the weekend. Stoke of a Pen to Close but Millions to restore should it need to be re installed at some stage. I remember the ol Fella telling me that they would see the Train Pulling Away from the Harbour Railway station as the boat was minutes from Rosslare. That was years back. Building a new Station away from the Ferry Terminal does not help matters either. Crazy Decision.

There's light years between the Chinese and UK stuff that was built years ago. Times have moved on no matter where it built standards would have improved. But I do have stuff that still runs and runs well from the 70'80s that has no tiny bits to break off them!!. Even if it is a few laps and then a quick pick up to smell the slight burning odour off the motor. Loverly

No Railtour on the Horizon to wake the end of the line at all? "Well its a reflection of economic progress, thankfully we are no longer a poor country and most of our citizens can afford to travel by their own means on roads and motorways" For how long??, Nearly 70 notes to tank up the focus this weather. Mind you probably wont be able to afford a ticket on Irish Rail either. Looks Like I have to Oil the bike chain...:/

I'm not surprised about the order quantity, €350 is a large spend on a non DCC ready, Non Sound Equipped Loco. There so much Irish RTR this year coming out people are spending their cash on the Wagons etc. I ordered one loco myself as it does look pretty nice.

Ah I do love a puzzle to do on the platform I noticed a shed in Thurles has had similar Metal work applied.

Nice once Paul on the Transfers tip. Must check them out. Could not follow the Fox Transfers site at all , Very confusing but good decals. Might try some Cambrian kits next especially the Trouts and 'Borail' wagons which would look cool with a load of rails on them http://cambrianmodels.co.uk/srwagons.html -

Hi Noel, Thanks for the comment, The A-10 is foam, Has two 550mm fans in it, Bit underpowered tbh, Has retractable U/C which is poorly designed so I usually belly land it. Great sound and I installed Nav Lights so looks even cooler at dusk.
