I guess I could knock holes in a few walls, maybe run a little tunnel into the next-door neighbour's place.

I don't think that there was any inference that €100 is a small sum. You asked for something and offered €100 max, and got exactly what you asked for. I'm sure you'll be grand at repainting, or stripping the paint if required. You're a young lad with eyesight and free time that old farts like me can only dream of. Not sure about the hobby being for the over-25's only, either. Around the 25 mark is probably the time we drift away from the hobby for a few years, or more, as life takes over. We then drift back into the hobby as life begins to settle down for us.

I got some 1:48 grey blanks but the shade looks more MAERSK than MOL, and the locking bars are incredibly fragile for removing and re-spraying. I got some 1:48 grey blanks but the shade looks more MAERSK than MOL, and the locking bars are incredibly fragile for removing and re-spraying.

Lovely stuff, @Mol_PMB. No MOL 20’s hiding in the background, though?

I’m sure the shade of green will be grand.

Have I missed a few deleted posts or something? “I want this item for this price!” “Here’s that item at that price!” “No thanks, it’s too complicated!” It’s like a chunk of the conversation is missing.

That’s some “few”, @Darius43! Jaysus, talk about box-opening. DeAgostini Mercedes Benz NG 2236 just arrived:

Or persuade the locals that they need a model club in the first place! Since going down the O Gauge spiral, I've found, to my own eye, that three or four coaches are enough. Even at that, you're looking at 2,5m to 3m including a loco.

Here's a Peckett for your garden railway at least: https://railsofsheffield.com/products/roundhouse-harrc-0-6-0-saddle-tank-harrogate-radio-control-steam-locomotive

They’re finally here, O Gauge Mk2 coaches! https://railsofsheffield.com/blogs/news/heljan-o-gauge-br-mk2-coaches-arriving-imminently £255 GBP per coach, nearly thirty different variants available. I can’t be the only one all excited about these.

"Voiding the Warranty" - Mol's experiments in 21mm gaugeDJ Dangerous replied to Mol_PMB's topic in Irish Models Great idea, would love to see that. Almost sure, but not completely sure, that @Garfield said a few months back that IRM Bulleid buffers may be available as spares in the future, as are Accurascale buffers. The Accurascale buffers translate into Spanish as tampons, so hopefully the IRM ones don't get the same treatment! Now, could you move the buffers inwards a few inches and take some more pics, please???

"Voiding the Warranty" - Mol's experiments in 21mm gaugeDJ Dangerous replied to Mol_PMB's topic in Irish Models Excellent job on re-spacing the buffers, @Mol_PMB! @MAL will be most interested in these few posts, too. Surprising how much of a difference the re-spacing makes to the overall impact. The IRM Bulleids are a really lovely wagon, and you've taken them to the level they deserve with that mod. A Mol-Mod, I guess...

	The water effect is fabulous!

Canarian Container AnorakDJ Dangerous replied to DJ Dangerous's topic in Photos & Videos of the Prototype Pretty well detailed for pen holders! LOL MOL LOL MOL LOL MOL, so I assume you've been adopted by JSV, too!

Great stuff, @ttc0169! Just been catching up on the last couple of posts, and TJ is in top form, always!

Only three left! Don't be wasting your money on over-priced A Class locos when there'll be a re-run of them one day anyway, get yourself one of these and bask in it's glory! https://www.ebay.es/itm/375769936192

Murphy Models MM0113 in NIR livery for €550: https://www.ebay.es/itm/365223747631 Was advertised for €450 yesterday but the seller was advised to review their pricing: https://www.ebay.es/itm/365220165111 Well above what I'm prepared to pay... €160 to €180 from retailers three years ago. €375 would be double the price, and I'd maaaaaaaybe stretch to that for one. Probably €250 each for the new re-run, likely on sale over the next few months. Same seller has a load of Irish locos for sale, as they have done in the past: https://www.ebay.es/usr/magr216967 Some of the pricing isn't bad at all.

A little piece on the BBC today, not specifically about the trains, but scrutinising the autonomy itself.

Love this! You don't have a spare room to rent out, by any chance?

Time for @BosKonay to get the pruning sheers out. No simple cause nor solution when it come to delinquent behaviour. You all need a group hug.

Absolute sploosh; O Gauge Scania 143: https://www.ebay.es/itm/375769936192 Only six left, nine sold already, don't be a dummy and miss out!

The Eagle Has Landed - NIR Hunslets Next For Accurascale IRMDJ Dangerous replied to Warbonnet's topic in News Remember, only up to 319.220! After that, they lost the loveable 071 faces. @MOGUL works exclusively on the Canarian dispatch process now - one of the hidden benefits of hitting "Platinum" in the Rewards scheme is that IRM recruit an employee just for you.
