  1. Renault R420 with MSC 20' boxes, again on a butchered Edicola / Salvat trailer. Can't decide whether the trailers look better with or without the wheel arches. Must dig out the red R420, too. Enjoy!
  2. A few pics without the unrealistic blue sky. Been very lucky to pick up some of @leslie10646's new vans, along with some of @Mayner's wagons and brakevans, and even an older @Marks Models van from @Westcorkrailway! The likes of the @JasonB and the grey-steam-era brigade must be foaming at the mouth with jealousy.
  3. If I may respond, point by point... 1. Six creatively placed wagons! 2. Creatively placed camera and no layout! 3.
  4. Want me to upload a photo?
  5. Great to see the work unfolding before our very eyes. Some very shiny looking orange and black coaches nestled away on Platform 3. Are the track panels held together using those bits of metal while in storage, as wood would rot?
  6. Sorry, @Angus, I kind of went for broad strokes to keep it simple. I'm sure each broad category could also be broken down further. I assume you're one of the two "elitists" in the "Other" category, as you've specified here. The poll is just to get a general feel for things. I'm sure that @BosKonay can add a few categories further down the line, when the "Other" category warrants it. Probably not worth it just yet with only two members selecting it.
  7. Sorry, @Galteemore, I kind of went for broad strokes to keep it simple. I'm sure N Gauge could also be broken down into 1:144 and 1:150, while OO Gauge could be 16,5mm, 18,2mm, 20,2mm, 21mm etc. Just to get a general feel for things. I'm assuming it'll be 90% OO Gauge, 5% N Gauge, 5% O Gauge, 1% others, with a 1% margin of error.
  8. So, @JasonB's 1/18 post HERE, and the lack of interest on the O Gauge vehicle thread HERE, got me wondering aboit what scales and gauges people model Irish railways in? Trying to add a poll but not sure if I'll get it right! I have created a poll but the forum seems to be asking me to choose this post or the poll. The options, I guess, are: N Gauge HO Gauge (wink wink, @murphaph!) OO Gauge O Gauge Gauge 1 Other (please specify) Anything anybody wishes to add, please do so!
  9. Sorry, wrong one, was rushing. https://www.marksmodels.com/?pid=11520
  10. Nice one, @derek, that's bang on! These any use? https://www.marksmodels.com/?pid=16306 In stock with Marks Models.
  11. Received an email from IRM today saying that "pre-orders have been massive and some of the variants are approaching 50% sold already!" No excuses and no sitting on the fence, get your plastic or your cheque book out and get splurging! Also, @Warbonnet, you mis-spelled "beet" in the thread title.
  12. Wow, a Kingsbridge video from almost a DECADE ago! How things have changed these past ten years. You know, it feels like the older I get, the faster time passes.
  13. A few pics taken last night:
  14. Cheers, @Rob. Nice to be able to run something every now and then, even if it's just a simple back and forth before going asleep.
  15. Gave 187 another run last night. Crappy lighting again, but it is what it is.
  16. I'll get a rainy one for you some day soon, I'm sure of it!
  17. Anybody know what the melting point for these wagons is?
  18. Hell yeah!!!!!
  19. Model info here: https://www.irishretro.com/new-products-2/bus-ireann-model-lc300-type
  20. Not sure if either of you contacted / received a reply from Irish Retro, @skinner75 and @Gabhal Luimnigh, but I did, and he said: "I’ve temporarily taken down the link as I want to be 100% sure of dates as we have missed the current production run." I'm sure if anybody is interested, they can make contact via the website.
  21. Maybe you could ask him about the bus if you're in contact about your book order? I guess he has stopped taking orders and removed the order page, but can't speak on his behalf.
  22. Sold for €115 in the end.
  23. Looks like somebody wiped their a*se with this 201, but it could be a gem underneath all that poop for somebody: https://www.ebay.es/itm/155855996894
