I think the wifi is slow over there in the canaries because I can see clearly that it’s 4k 1080p crisp photograph of a Cork and Macroom Railway bus -

Irish Railway News ‘Enterprise Watch’
Westcorkrailway replied to IrishTrainScenes's topic in General Chat
As far as I’m aware, your looking at a (yes) concerningly high failure rate. However I suspect the chances of getting a 22k (which isint too bad) are high but if there is a delay due to a failure is the real killer -

British locos and stock that can be disguised as Irish
Westcorkrailway replied to Westcorkrailway's topic in Irish Models
The lower section of the body (we will say the running board area) is slightly wider then the 4’8 counterpart. However if somone on this forum was going to convert one to CSE livery, I don’t think they will mind the slight difference -

The accurascale 0 gauge Ruston 88ds is added to this list. Any other new models that fall into here? -
My “dream layput” is crossbarry in the 1960s with the catch that the kinsale branch never closed for….some reason I have yet to come up with in my head cannon.

Cement Silo Kent Station Demolition
Westcorkrailway replied to Newtoncork's topic in What's happening on the network?
There is a good chance of freight returning to cork. But in the form of cement? It’s over -
I’ll have a look at an LNYR chassis and see if any bit can be shortend if anyone has Drawings for an F6 I have somone who is interested in getting it 3D printed other ivatt cab locos like the J10 might be easier. Also 4-4-2t box top could be possible with the LNYR chassis by replacing the front bogie
-
A kitbasher out Wesht made this out of an LNYR 2-4-2 All that was changed was the cab and the smokebox door If I was doing this myself I’d make the cab out of 3d print or brass. And tweak the dimensions a bit too (the cab is too rounded and the bumps on the running board would be easy additions) not to mention I imagine JB wouldn’t be painting such a thing black

What I will say to back myself is I put up both 6 wheeler sets up on FB on the same FB group at the exact same time recently just too see if I could add to that conclusion I made On the hattons website as well as that particular FB group the Dark green livery got more then double the “likes” that the light green did. A46 was more or less a 1 off livery on the A class. Not too many A class wore the dark green as far as I’m aware. Maybe even just the 1 A class and 1 C class while most of the A class fleet wore the lighter green as far as I’m aware. Dark was far more prevelent then the light green though because the coffers were dry for repainting some of the oldest of old stuff I.e. less veritiety . It seems the livery asthetically anyway is more popular can’t speak about batch numbers but I’m willing to bet that it was very similar-ish numbers for A42 and A46. A46 was one of the first to sell out and A46 being one of the last. That can be seen as well in the resale prices. tis a shame because I actually am a big appericiated of the light green and find it a shame that it was the livery for such a short period (even if some coaches lasted in light green into ‘67)

New Enterprise Stock
Westcorkrailway replied to Branchline121's topic in What's happening on the network?
The de Dietrich/201s that have been a staple of the enterprise for a while now have an increasingly heightening failure rate. I certainly have been taken of the enterprise just to spend a trip to Belfast on a train ment for maynooth and Drogheada commuter trips! it’s a shame because I think the DDs have the nicest ride quality as a passenger. Even more so then the other loco hauled trains, the mk 4s to cork. -
It’s possible there real though?
-
Something very dodgy going on with Cork and Bandon signs The guy who “purchased” the last one now has one up for sale
-
I think there are far fewer light green ones being sold. As the IRM A class shows. The dark geeen livery is one of the most popular liveries A46 sold out months before A42 ect. not to mention a Lot of 6 wheelers got the Axe Before they got the light green livery anyways
