  3. Wonderfull scenery, top marks to you.
  4. The real 073 might have some corrosion Problems, but my two are just fine.
  5. It's a fab photo alright. Grey livery is so nice. It's great to see 087 was rebuilt as by all accounts it was a wreck.
  6. Great work John.
  7. Fantastic.
  8. EGV is looking good Tom. The pockets are a nice addition as well.
  9. It's looking a fantastic mk2 Tara junction Noel. The sperry and weed trains look good in the sidings.
  10. A few bits I am doing at the moment. I am rebuilding the shapeways ballast plough vans and using the brass parts from the SSM plough kit. 183 is being looked at for a spare sound chip that I got, while sound chipped 187 is missing a antenna. The M class bus is nearing completion with some minor painting to touch up. God the oil wagons are still not finished and I need to get cracking on them. I have built a bit of a Fire Station diarama as well,so she needs a small bit more work.
  11. Very nice,enjoyed the videos.
  12. I got My MM 080 renumbered to 075 and a bit of weathering done with George and Wonderful Weathering.Delighted with the results, and here are a few photo with factory Weathered 073.
  13. They look fantastic, well done.
  14. They are a nice kit to build alright Tommy, and perhaps need a bit of weight added to stop the derailments as they do seem to be very light.
  15. Currently, I am trying to finish off my batch of dapol Esso tankers with the SSM brass detail. These are a nice starter For anyone wishing to try a kit with brass together for the first time, well worth a try. It's taken me far too long to build these, so the plan is to have them built this week. I will post up more photos at a later stage.
  16. Took me ages just to build one 42 flat and that was glued together.I can imagine it takes a lot longer to solder. Great job.
  17. Stunning work Tony.
  18. I wonder would Mallow-Waterford have survived had the Ballinacourty project had come online sooner.Mallow -Waterford closed in March 1967, While the spur to Ballinacourty to service the Quigley plant came about around 1970. Trains could have run to Mallow via Dungarvan, and perhaps beet trains could have run via Dungarvan as well.
  19. The video is nice, although I found that the bass reflex speaker gave great output on my a class. The A class chip was recorded from a39 at Downpatrick a few years ago, with the best part of the recordings done from the rear cab pushing the empty stock to Inch Abby. A39 is looked after well and she is not pushed hard.
  20. I posted many many times, video of my A class with sound on this site.
  21. I am afraid I bought nothing in the sale. The kitty is a bit bare at the moment, such is life. It's nice to have such expensive hobbys.
  22. Hope this helps, my own MK3 EGV which was a spare Hornby restraunt coach that I had a go with the SSM brass sides.
