  1. Wow very impressive, and I love the lighting.
  2. I dont know the grey Ral colour, but maybe this photo might help of Gerry Byrne's grey 121.He might be be able to tell you the colours later if he is on here.
  3. That viaduct looks so nice-great job.
  4. A super collection I must say.I enjoyed the photos taken around Borris in the Carlow section and the Wickham inspection car crossing Currabaha LC near Kilmacthomas. On viewing the Wexford section,I think some photos are from the Sallins-Tullow branch as it mentions a lifting train on the Slaney bridge which as from what I know is not on the Rosslare line.
  5. I just want to say my Condolences to Seamus(Heir Flick)who lost Mother last night.RIP.
  6. Hi Dee,and welcome to the site. There is a new book on the North Kerry line by Alan o Rourke which can be got via Great Southern trail website. You could also try Eiretrains website. Eamonn
  7. Very nice, super realistic job even down to the lovers lane.
  8. Great space you have there.A little fridge for beer and you will be right.
  9. I saw that alright.I suppose the truck driver would not mind 088 in notch 8 as much as we would.
  10. That looks the part.It found it hard to get the beet loads right, and ended up with ballast with a bit of red oxide.
  11. I like the gray livery a lot now. Will have to look at the grab rails on the cabs as they do need to be removed at some stage.enjoy your day George.
  12. I was down at the show today, and very enjoyable as usual. Bought a gray 071 off Shem, and a few other road models. Its only when you see other fab layouts that it can really inspire you to get cracking on your own creation.
  13. So this is very much a thing of the past!. Great video Ant.
  14. Great job on the ballasting Sean.
  15. Great effort Kieran, that front looks a fecker to get right.
  16. Thanks Murrayyec.I will check out Branchlines. I did order a BB from another UK supplier but ran into problems in that they quite simply would not send out my order- with no explanation.
  17. Indeed its does Stephen-I found it very easy to throw on some weathering powders and a bit of rust, and even though the bubble is hand painted,it was easy to cover up any mishaps as a rough unloved appearance. The grain of the wood helps that way as well.
  18. Thanks for comments Guys.I am was wondering what people thought of my cheap bubble and how a ordinary joe like me could make one that is up to scratch and would it pass off as acceptable. As regards what's next, time to get the finger out and get things done and also I want to finish the SSM Wickham inspection when I can source a 35 Black beetle.
  19. Great Tom,look forward to this build.
