Viaduct and some are of David Parks photos of the Weed
Killer train during the 80s.Some photos are shown on a
piece I did on "Waterford-Ballinacourty line revisited
Last year on this site.I have more photos in the collection
That I can post up If you want.I think the Eiretrains photos
appear on the Durrow section.
It's a sign you are getting old if you have
to be in bed by 10.Then again I will have a little
miss at the foot of my bed at 6.30 every morning
and I mean every morning, wanting to go down stairs
to watch peppa pig.lol
Mind you the start up of 088 on the 071 sound chip does sound
like its not going to start. The 071s in particular suffer from poor
cold starting mainly because of the small car like starting motor
attached to the engine.
Good to have you back bud.Its the good memory's at
Enniscorthy station in the late 70s watching trains with
my own Father that I treasure as well.looks like we were
blessed with fantastic Fathers who gave us a life long
obsession with trains.May they rest in peace.
Lovly shots there Kirley, and poor Eamonn is still delivering the
Christmas post, and going gaga looking at letters cards parcels
for the last two weeks.
Hi Patrick,I buy Model Rail as this mag in particular gives
reviews on news on Irish stock. As you are in USA I am sure
they do mail order subscriptions.
The sound chips are from Mr sound Guy who kindly
gave me a demo chip early this year as I drove him
to Downpatrick for the recordings of A39.
It was Gerry Byrne who organized this trip for Mr
Sound guy and get permission from Downpatrick and
the ITG for this to take place.I got the job of driving on
the day as Gerry himself was unable to go.We had a fantastic
Day and the guys at Downpatrick were so helpfull and
friendly to us.The chips are not available yet but hopefully
Soon.
