  1. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. The next one will be even better.
  2. Looks great and so much detail. It's a work of art.
  3. It's hard to put a prototypical liner together as not all containers are available, there will always be ones you will never get. And new containers will be added to trains over the years. I try to buy containers I want as they become available. I've started buying 45's even though there are no wagons to put them on, YET.
  4. So which one was the fastest? And which was the more powerful?
  5. That's a great idea. I'm building a 6 wheel wagon and I was thinking about how to do the middle wheels, so now I know.
  6. They look great in the red. what type of paint did you use ? it seems to have a slight sheen to it. And would the grey be more of a matt finish?
  7. Nice pictures. So 45's must be on the cards
  8. I bought a pair of Dapol Malcolm Logistics 45s and was wondering if they were ever used here on Irish liner trains?
  9. Always backup, which I don't always do, but most of my pictures are saved on a separate drive. You can retrieve lost data but do it soon or it will get corrupted.
  10. I see that's a 45ft container. I've just ordered 2 sets, so now all I need is the 47ft wagons to carry them. Hint Hint.
  11. I bought a set and never knew that. Don't know why they don't tell people that they have opening doors.
  12. I mist the start of it, so I did not see that bit.
  13. It is a bit daft but it is popular. That episode was all filmed at Downpatrick & Co Down Railway Museum.
  14. Very nice, even the weeds look right.
  15. So far so good. That stuff really cleans the paint off.
  16. Very nice You have been chewing the shelf again.
  17. I wouldn't have the Easter eggs to do that.
  18. Thanks everyone, glad you liked these. There are more bits and pieces to come when I get them finished. I'm not to bothered about dates for vehicles or rolling stock, if I like it it's in. The MK3 BR Transit van is easier to do as there is less writing on it to remove. They come up on eBay sometimes, so keep checking.
  19. LINESIDE BUILDINGS ETC. I have been working on some items that you would see along the sides of the railway and in rail yards. this is the first one I have done. It is called REB which stands for Relocatable Equipment Building with the AWS relay box all made with plastic sheet and the Telecom tower is part kit and part made by me. it's surprising how many of these are around when you start looking. Plus 3 vans with IE logo's from Railtec.
  20. That's about the best rollercoaster ride you can get, but I think I will stay on the ground.
  21. Stunning Will it be open to the public ?
  22. They are a lot bigger than the old ones. What goes on inside? Will they sell the old ones?
  23. Not much use to us if they are not transported here. Something that crossed my mind one day was, why does C-rail not do 45s?
