  1. I bought a set and never knew that. Don't know why they don't tell people that they have opening doors.
  2. I mist the start of it, so I did not see that bit.
  3. It is a bit daft but it is popular. That episode was all filmed at Downpatrick & Co Down Railway Museum.
  4. Very nice, even the weeds look right.
  5. So far so good. That stuff really cleans the paint off.
  6. Very nice You have been chewing the shelf again.
  7. I wouldn't have the Easter eggs to do that.
  8. Thanks everyone, glad you liked these. There are more bits and pieces to come when I get them finished. I'm not to bothered about dates for vehicles or rolling stock, if I like it it's in. The MK3 BR Transit van is easier to do as there is less writing on it to remove. They come up on eBay sometimes, so keep checking.
  9. LINESIDE BUILDINGS ETC. I have been working on some items that you would see along the sides of the railway and in rail yards. this is the first one I have done. It is called REB which stands for Relocatable Equipment Building with the AWS relay box all made with plastic sheet and the Telecom tower is part kit and part made by me. it's surprising how many of these are around when you start looking. Plus 3 vans with IE logo's from Railtec.
  10. That's about the best rollercoaster ride you can get, but I think I will stay on the ground.
  11. Stunning Will it be open to the public ?
  12. They are a lot bigger than the old ones. What goes on inside? Will they sell the old ones?
  13. Not much use to us if they are not transported here. Something that crossed my mind one day was, why does C-rail not do 45s?
  14. Here is another ONE, not in Ireland ONE, but it is a Reefer ONE.
  15. I hope the fumes don't go back into the house. check the tops of tables and worktops the next day, you would be surprized, it gets everywhere. You could do it outside on a dry day like I do.
  16. Very nice. Do they open on hinges?

  21. NIR HUNSLET 101 EAGLE This is my Silver fox model of the NIR Hunslet loco 101 EAGLE. It started with the resin body and then I used a Lima 20 class chassis for the power. The Lima chassis was old and only had pickup to one bogie so I managed to get pickups to the other bogie and that helped a lot on the frogs on points. Blue paint was mixed from 2 Humbrol colours M68 & G52. The red/orange stripes were hand painted with more red than orange Hand rails, wipers and foot steps on the front were hand made. I tried to give it a heavy weathered look but didn't want to over do it. Hope you like it. I will start with a photo by J & J Cottrell that they sent to me of the loco at Adelaide which was a big help, and thanks to them for their help.
  22. That looks great well done. When you build something from real life it just looks better than a kit that you will see on other peoples layouts.
  23. Proper track, looks and sounds great. Those 2 guys used to work for me and they did nothing but talk so I let them go. You will get no work out of them.
