@Warbonnet Are these anchor mounted fuel tanks the same design of tank as the A and B class ones introduced by Briitish Rail and the UK oil companies in the late 1940's but mounted on the Irish Bulleid triangulated chassis rather than the standard British chassis?  They look very similar.

If anybody has over-ordered their oil tanks and wishes to dispose of some, please let me know.

I was unable to order due to account glitches before they sold out.

Are these, the flats and Builleid opens all sold out on Preorder? Was hoping to nab a pack of flats and a couple of corrugated opens

Afraid so.

I was able to order the Open Wagons, missed out on the Flats and Oil Tanks, and Patrick helped manually place my order for the H Vans and Grain Hoppers.

There are usually extra units released into stock once the items arrive and all orders have been processed, so it’ll probably be grand.

Shoot! Thankfully managed to grab some of these, H vans and Bulk grains. Wonder if Marks Models got any stock allocation? As a backup plan

Even if Mark's don't, IRM will release extra units into stock once all pre-orders have been packed and shipped, so I wouldn't panic too much.

You can subscribe to be notified when each item is back in stock on the IRM shop website.

Plus, in hindsight, we all know a man who has probably bought a pallet of each to sell on, now that he's cleared space in his store room for them!

😂😂😂😂

Hi everyone,

Tank Wagon Marvels

We have just received the production samples of our CIE fuel oil wagons, and well, Oh my! 😍😍😍

Production is now complete on these beauties and once we have signed these off (featuring tooling amendments) we will begin shipping them.

Don't miss out on our Bulleid wagon projects, some of which can be pre-ordered from our website still: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/wagons/availability_pre-order

Cheers!

Great stuff. The deliveries are coming thick and fast now!

We’re working closely with the factory on streamlining a steady flow rather than massive deliveries at once which should help speed the fun and the pain :)

Yep that's what I thought, the money was taken on the 19th so we should have them by now

If you can get to Bray Wheelers gig on the 14th July I will have some of each there, and possibly Tank wagons if they have arrived by then

The update wasn't good enough, or the container not arriving wasn't good enough?

In fairness Dave, Bos did say in two seperate posts that the shipping would begin on Monday 24th. I for one didn.t receive any email to say this had changed. Either way, I can wait. They will get here eventually. They always do.

LOL, calm down, take deep breaths, and you'll be grand.

I'm sure one of the lads will be on over the next few days to explain what happened.

Think I paid for my NIR Mk2B/C coaches about two years before they arrived, so a few days here and there is tolerable.

I get that that, of course, but @Warbonnet did then say that they're nearly here, only this week.

Probably something simple like the ship was delayed or customs were slow.

IRM's new logistics guy is pretty sharp, no flies on him, and he wants his fuel oil tanks just as much as anybody else, LOL

😂😂😂😂😂

Hi @Gabhal Luimnigh,

We are short staffed due to the summer months in the warehouse, still getting flats out and the Mark 2s have also arrived so we need to get them out as well.

Please remember we are a small team and a lot of models have arrived in recent weeks with us.

If that’s not good enough for you I can only apologise and please feel free to email us with your order number to cancel and we will process a full refund for you.

Have a great weekend,

Fran

Hi Fran, that's not a great way to greet a customer, it's not my fault you're short staffed, if you want to get goods out on time then make sure you have the adequate amount of staff, enjoy your weekend too. 😊
