Thanks for the welcome and your comment, I used Railmatch paints applied with an airbrush and Humbrol weathering powders applied with a brush, then coated with matt varnish.

Thanks for the welcomes and the kind words, was weary about putting it up but glad i did now, I have a couple of 201s and 082 to get stuck into so hopefully i'll do them justice. Im from Lovely Leitrim TM, and as for the name, i could tell you but then id have to kill you.;)

Thanks, thats why i started with the baby GM, easier to cover over any mistakes with loads of grime, as for todays result, the less said the better

That's a nice bit of weathering on the baby. I haven't tried to weather any of my locos but if they turn out like yours if be very happy.

I can't wait to get some weathering paints from the Model Shop Belfast and start weathering all my stock

Lovely weathering work there. It has that authentic dirty look for sure! Have yet to take the plunge and try it on any of my own stock.... Have a way to go before Im that brave. Welcome to the site:cool:

Rangermouse, welcome onboard and nice work. A bit of tasty weathering brings out the plethora of detail in this little honey of a loco....every time.
