popeye Posted December 24, 2025 Author Posted December 24, 2025 IRM H VAN I got a set of IRM H vans and wanted to have a go at weathering them. The upper body was done only with weathering powders and the underframe was done with enamel paint. 14 1
Tullygrainey Posted December 24, 2025 Posted December 24, 2025 Subtle weathering but convincingly grubby. Those are perfect Patrick. 1

Mol_PMB Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Excellent. It's amazing how the weathering on the tankers has transformed them from a toy to a convincing model. 2 1

popeye Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Hornby Hand Crane. These are old with black base and red or yellow crane. I have painted the whole thing grey and then weathered it. Removed the oversized chains and replaced with 0.5mm string. Little metal hand cranks have also been added.ย ย 6
