WRENNEIRE Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Have to say I think they are pure class Best non ready to run model out there Gareths attention to detail is as bad as PMurphys Each model has some very slight differences from each other The paint job was not the worst in the world either Quote

Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Rich if you ever get a chance to call up and see me you will be amazed at how good a model it is in real life. I keep mine in a glass cabinet and only run it now and again its that special Quote
RedRich Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I love it Anto, if that kind of modelling doesn't inspire people then they are in the wrong hobby. If I come up I might not want to go home mate. Well done again lads. Rich, Quote

Who built these stunning models? They look as good as high quality injection moulded plastic models, but I understand they were plasticard? Apologies for posting to old thread but only just spotted these. The finesse of the grills are amazing. Quote
Junctionmad Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Wow. That's very high quality scratch building , the finish to the plastic is excellent Quote

dropshort105 Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 I have done B113 black/ yellow board, I would love to do one in every livery, it a pity that there were more livery's than locos lol. Quote
Kirley Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 I believe the Sulzers built by Gareth are the finest scratch built locomotive I have ever seen. These brass and plasticard models are superb and very regrettable I don't have one. Quote

These brass and plasticard models are superb and very regrettable I don't have one. Pity I didn't know you back then Kieran, I could've sold you mine. It was a decent effort with a couple of sticky points. I do have a great love for the prototype and I keep trying to persuade the other IRM all-stars that it should be the first IRM loco project. Don't think they share the same enthusiasm though! Quote

Speak for yourself, Fran... I've a serious soft spot for the prototypes. Have to keep feet firmly in the ground, though (and prevent Richie from having a conniption)! Quote

Thank God the entire modelling community has long been waiting for a top quality RTR model of the popular A class The gaping hole on the superb MM product line. The "Dalek" is a very nice looking model though. Quote
