tonto.irl Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 (edited) FOR SALE I've decided to sell my full set or IE MK3's. All of the coaches have been converted/repainted from Lima MK3's coaches and all lightly weathered. The GUV was converted using Studio Scale Models brass kit and has a Kadee coupling at one end set to NEM height. Here's what you get: 1 x 1st Class (Glazed with Shawplan Laser Glaze) (Coach A) 1 x Restaurant (Coach B) 4 x Standard (Coaches D, E, F & G) 1 x GUV (AKA Genny Van) I'm looking for €450 + P&P. Will accept CASH or PayPal (Family & Friends). Sold as seen. No returns. Thanks for looking. Tony. Edited September 2, 2016 by tonto.irl
scahalane Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Tony are you selling 7 or 4 coaches. The text is a bit misleading.
rebelred Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I was about to ask the same thing! Did you do the repainting yourself also??
Glenderg Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 If it's 7 coaches, which I suspect it is, and a mirolo job, this is a bloody bargain.
Blaine Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 If it's 7 coaches, which I suspect it is, and a mirolo job, this is a bloody bargain. Yes it is 7 coaches

tonto.irl Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 Hi Tony, I'll offer €450 cash and collected if these are still for sale. PM sent.. T
Noel Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 If it's 7 coaches, which I suspect it is, and a mirolo job, this is a bloody bargain. They look very well alright. Was really tempted but wrong era for me and a beautiful long scale length mk3 rake like that really wouldn't fit on our layout. Btw what is a 'mirolo' job?
Garfield Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Btw what is a 'mirolo' job? Have a look at the copyright notice in the photos...
tonto.irl Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 Btw what is a 'mirolo' job? It's the best job..... :)

Weshty Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) Correction, looks like my PM didn't get through. And also corrected on process for selling. Edited September 5, 2016 by Weshty
Noel Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Add my tuppence, no response to my PM either... Seems a poor show to post a "for sale" thread and then ignore PMs
tonto.irl Posted September 5, 2016 Author Posted September 5, 2016 Again, Sorry for not replying to PM's. Some of the offers did not warrant a response... T
Railer Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) I bought the set for those wondering. Tony PM'ed me on post 8 of this thread. Don't know where that fit's in with others PMs but I never PM'ed him till he contacted me so no off thread dealing was done. I believe mods can check members PMs if anyone thinks there was out of sorts. Edited September 5, 2016 by Railer

Warbonnet Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I bought the set for those wondering. Tony PM'ed me on post 8 of this thread. Don't know where that fit's in with others PMs but I never PM'ed him till he contacted me so no off thread dealing was done. I believe mods can check members PMs if anyone thinks there was out of sorts. We don't have access to members PMs but I'm sure all was treated above board by Tony. And Noel, there is seriously no need for that attitude and the back seat modding. Thank you.
Garfield Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) Guidelines for using the 'for sale' section can be found here: http://irishrailwaymodeller.com/showthread.php/1080-Guidelines-for-this-area Includes this: Ideally offers, acceptances etc should should be made 'on thread' and not via PMs as at least then everyone then knows whats sold or not I think Tonto is owed a few apologies, lads...
