A4mallard
kirley, since the hobo ride was taken i've put in 2 and a half levels above the starting point. i'll try and do another one from the bottom right to the top, however it could be quite boring at 30 mins. bren Edited September 20, 2012 by A4mallard

Warbonnet
I'll try to take a video of all the levels next time I'm down. Bare in mind though that to watch trains on the top level a step ladder is required!

WRENNEIRE
Have to say I am not a big fan of these multi level layouts Remind me of car parks, not railway layouts Bit of scenery, a few buildings and a couple of trains going round in circles One thing I also like is a higher level layout, about 4'6" as opposed to 3' Look at the layout not down on it Just sayin................ A4mallard
The idea behind the multi levels was to have 3 levels of storage and the top 2 levels for scenery. It means I can run 8 trains on each track, and I can stand in the scenery section and watch them go by. Makes me feel like a trainspotter. Kirley
Thank Bren for the still pictures. Now you can really see what a unique and novel project this is. I counted 17 storage tracks on one level alone. The workmanship on the planning and construction is excellent and while this layout may not be everyone ‘cup of tea’ may I congratulate you on being innovative and doing your own thing. It looks to me like a layout what will bring joy in the ‘running of trains’ and that can’t be bad in itself.
A4mallard
kirley, you hit the nail on the head, for me, it's all about the 'running of trains'. thanks for the comments bren
